FREE THINKER is the debut album by Versa the Band -- a music collective of sorts, led by film producer & artist manager, Ethan Felizzari. FREE THINKER dives into the beauty of our world from the perspective of a self-proclaimed “Free Thinker” as discussed in the prologue of the album. This album holds up a mirror to society by showing the trials and tribulations of everyday people, the disparity of love and the world as we know it changing forever.  The overarching theme of the album suggests that to live a truly happy life, we must subject our mind to free thoughts and free experiences while allowing ourselves to be open to the challenges that come our way. Split up into four chapters, FREE THINKER sets up a story that truly is meant for any music-lover in the modern age.

Versa the Band’s hope is that FREE THINKER’s genre-less music -- or as Ethan calls it, “Alternative Soul-infused Hip Hop/Jazz Inspired music” -- can lead to the discovery of new, non-conforming sounds by people of all backgrounds.

ARTIST BIO:
With a name as ambiguous as Versa the Band, you have to wonder, what is this ‘band’? The project was first created at the start of 2019. Originating from Long Island, New York, Versa the Band made it a priority to create music that was genreless; a discography for anyone to listen to. The project is led by Ethan Felizzari, a producer, writer, director and artist manager, who wanted to express himself through music. Often referred to as a music collective, the "band" is very non-traditional with no actual key members instead just a bunch of collaborators who work with Ethan to produce music & perform engaging live sets.

Versa the Band's sound blends traditional Pop with hints of Hip Hop, Soundscape and more. Their influences include artists like Bon Iver, Billie Eilish, James Blake, Rosalia, Bruno Mars & Jason Mraz. With songs like “Oxy”, “Don’t Be Alone”, “Just Friends”, “Barefoot” and "Por Mi Vida", Versa the Band shows their true individuality and drive to share very personal stories that are not confined by one sound.  

Versa the Band is currently signed to indie label CK Records (A CK Productions Company).
