Version 2.0 is a Philadelphia duo, with a unique sound that blends house and techno with influences across multiple genres, including funk, hip-hop, R&B, and salsa. Comprised of Miguel V. and Marcus Scarfo, Version 2.0 has been moving dance floors since 2011. Shortly after collaborating, the duo's talent was recognized across the city and they were booked for such major parties as “Picnic for Degenerates” and “Sundae.”  They currently host the monthly party, "#SoulnSol" with fellow DJs, Maggs Bruchez.

When they joined forces, Miguel and Marcus shared a common goal of playing and producing music differently in a scene that they believed was becoming commercially saturated.  They strive to create music that remains true to its roots, while incorporating a new-school edge, hence the name "Version 2.0." Their work is influenced by many artists, including Hot Since 82, Weiss, BrEaCh, MK, Detroit Swindle, and Argy.
