"This track is called 'hablando mientras bailamos en la rave' (which means "talking while dancing at the rave"), I made it in two days using a harmony a jazz player from Mexico recorded on midi for me a long time ago, I listened to DJ Heartstring & Teleshop a lot that weekend so they have definitely been an influence on it. I feel the name describes it pretty well because to me it has a trancey mood but at the same time it's kind of chill.

It's my favourite track of the album which has many different genres, some of them more indie some others more house-y and some stuff in between."

Returning to трип after last year’s fantastic ‘cheerful pessimist’ EP, Vladimir Dubyshkin presents ‘budni nashego kolhoza’, an abstract portrait of the ‘everyday life of a collective farm.’

On these driving, iridescent tracks Dubyshkin is as self-assured as he is unhinged. He advances with a controlled intensity – taunting vocal cuts loop and spiral over pulsating, muscular rhythms that seem moments away from derailing. It’s a gripping descent into delirium, dragged ankle-first by Dubyshkin.

'hot steel'  is back on трип!

For the second run of the series, the idea remains the same - Nina Kraviz announces the stream date and sends out a call to artists for their unreleased music to oidodekraviz@gmail.com, all genres are welcome. After the stream takes place, the favourite tracks are signed and a few weeks later a digital only 'hot steel' compilation is released.

The second hot steel stream took place in Mykonos' Cavo Paradiso and results into another multitalented, high octane and unique 21 track compilation.
