Zorz, is an alternative grandiose with a solid talent to assess new musical modes and inheritor of rare music material. Inspired by the evolution of the early 90's electronic scene and the flood of music acts that swept Detroit, Chicago, Birmingham and Bristol, he has set in motion his rebellious creativity by dropping underground dj sets for the past decade. He started by mixing CDs but his passion for analog sound led him to build a respectable vinyl collection. Through years of personal and musical evolution, he has established a distinguishable sound character. He likes to experiment with sounds, delivering unpredictable dj sets combining different styles like Industrial, Detroit Techno, Electro, Chicago House, Wave, Breaks, Ambient, Experimental and more hybrids, creating unique soundscapes for each dance floor through interacting with the crowd. He has performed at various events, clubs and festivals around Spain, Greece and Berlin. With his mate Kondaktor, started a new music label called Untag recently, focusing on experimental music. Zorz is resident dj of Pi Electronics and Prima Materia and a member of the Reform and Sleazy Beats & Dirty Vibes collectives, adding his distinct vibes and musical personality to a variety of events across this journey. In recent years  he curates his internet radio show called Creatures of Light for Lyl radio from Lyon, France where he shares his personal taste and inspirations in music. Welcoming the brilliant London-based, Singapore-born artist SKETCH to the Untitled 909 mix series. 

Resident at local party famfem, SKETCH is no stranger to the London club circuit. Having played at renowned events such as Riposte, Body Movements, Queens Yard Summer Party, Origins and playbody to name a few, SKETCH has quickly become known for her love of industrial-leaning soundscapes and emotive journeys that draws influence from her Malay / Indonesian heritage. Something that she is now learning to do through her own productions and reconnecting with her heritage through her deep research on samples and the traditional instruments and sounds that are used in Malay / Indonesian music. Releasing her debut single 'Khayal' earlier this year, to great acclaim (being named one to watch by DJ Mag), SKETCH says the track was 'mostly inspired by the traditional Javanese dance called Kuda Kepang, a dance ritual by dancers on a two-dimensional horse' and will soon see remixes of the track from some of her friends. With an EP in the works too, we're super excited to see where SKETCH is heading and can't wait to hear more from her productions. 

In the accompanying interview, we chat to SKETCH about early music influences, what her production journey has been like, the experience of reconnecting with her heritage via music, deep diving into the influences behind 'Khayal' and much more.

Akanbi is the founder of one of the city's absolute best parties, Groovy Groovy (which is about to celebrate 10 years!), plus the more intimate, Rave Man presents. His style is on another level, one of those DJs that makes me go "how the hell did he think of that?!" and "shit, I need to practice more."

Recreational DJ starts fast and heavy in the first hour, then Akanbi brings the vibesss, a radio masterclass, in the second hour.
