Fresh off their tour of new Caledonia, and just about to blast Brazil, they have put together a huge new set to showcase their new ep, forthcoming on the almighty purple hexagon records very soon. Drunken Wisdom is the latest production by this motivated duo, already known to worldwide ears and dancefloors for their groovy and engaging sound. In this latest release, producers Z3nkai and Act One have united their talent and passion to create a single psychedelic journey across four wisely arranged tracks, confirming once again their attentive production skills and fresh taste. This young duo is indeed bound to keep shining bright, as they keep surprising and amusing dancers with their savvy use of acoustic and native instruments combined with blurry and pumping psychedelic sounds. Expect to ride downhill across a foggy landscape on a long dirt road and gain the wisdom of a drunken experienced traveller. Here is a one hour mix of fresh bangers from Nico (Z3nkai) and Jack (Act One) and, ranging from playful psychedelia to the darker end of the spectrum, it will be sure to rock your boots!

Kostas Daikos is the person behind the Greek project E-Mov.
His interest in electronic music production started during his student years which he spent mostly in the UK. With the experience he already had from many years of musical studies and as a performing guitar player in various bands, he started composing various styles from lounge to drum’n’bass, over ambient to psychedelic. In 2003 E-Mov was formed, aiming mostly in creating a blend of psychedelic and progressive music, largely influenced by ethnic and tribal elements. Guitars, male and female vocals and percussions were ingeniously incorporated. Since 2013 E-Mov joined Belgian label Dacru Records.

Dacru Records is a Belgian psytrance label. The label boosts a strong selection of artists, from major names with a 20 year career under the belt to younger promising talents. The rosters includes names like U-Recken, Talamasca, DigiCult, Spirit Architect, Tropical Bleyage, Bitkit, E-Mov, Electric Universe, Aquila, Overdrive, A-Tech, Transient Disorder and more. The aim is to release timeless music with a strong emphasis on the psychedelic and melodic.
Besides being a record label Dacru has also been making a name as event promoter with over 80 events since 2001, that’s a whole of a lot of experience that goes into organizing quality productions. The events have taken place all over Belgium, from The Netherlands to Germany and even in exotic places as Thailand and include big and small indoor events, open air festivals, bus trips, 11 day pop up clubs and more. Some of the party lines include Organic Dreams, Tribal Roots, After Sunrise and Nova’s Incident open air.

E-MOV | Dacru Records Series Vol. 2 | 10/08/2019

Vertex is Slobodan Gacesa (aka Merlin) from Serbia. 

It all started back in 2008, when two friends, Nikola Kozic (ZYCE) and Slobodan Gacesa (MERLIN) joined forces to create something new on the scene - a combination of psytrance and chillout - and Vertex was born.

With Slobodan's knowledge in playing piano, harmonies and in general musical theory and Nikola's widely known expertise in music production and sound design, this project represents beautiful blend of deep, progressive, psy-trance, ethnic and ambient motives, with wide spectrum of diverse themes and sounds. 

Debut album under the name "OCEAN", which represented the element of water, was released for TesseracTstudio records in 2010. After a great success of "OCEAN", dynamic duo continues the journey and two years after delivers the second album with symbolic name "EARTH", which represented element of earth and had a great success on most of the major psy trance charts. 

It inspired many music producers and therefore already next year (2013) album under name of "EARTH remixes" was released on TesseracTstudio, containing remixes done by names such as Suduaya, Human Element, Nerso, Aquafeel and more.

So far besides albums, there were more then 15 EP's and Singles released for some of the biggest records labels in the scene and Vertex had been selected on more than 30 VA compilations worldwide!

Vertex's collaboration track with Pion called "Sunrise Tonic" achieved a great success and became a massive hit, even being remixed by legendary Liquid Soul and released on Perfecto records by Paul Oakenfold. It was selected as official track of famous OZORA festival in 2011.

Over the years, Vertex has developed a unique and recognizable sound on the scene, known by beautiful melodies, atmospheres, harmonies and divergent spectrum of sounds. It is considered to be one of the most innovative projects on progressive & psy trance scene, often combining what is considered impossible.

After the years of collaboration and 2 studio albums, Slobodan took the lead and in 2017 friends decided to split, resulting in Vertex being a solo project of Slobodan.

Slobodan is at the moment in the process of making the 3rd studio album, which will have association with the element of... FIRE! Album will be released by the end of the year 2019.
