Corrupt Illusionist is the brain child of MOHIT JAIN, a Delhi based musician who has been at the forefront of both rock & psychedelic trance music scene for the past 15 years.

Mohit’s journey started out listening to new metal music with his major influences coming from bands like Mudvayne, Deftones , korn, slipknot etc. He started his musical journey as a drummer against his parent’s will but perseverance paid off when he was gifted a drum kit for his 15th birthday. Since then he has played as a drummer &a vocalist for many bands including Half Way Through,1833AD, Zealotry. His journey was embarked towards more heavy sounds, so he turned to incorporating electronic music with the sublime melodies, crisp guitar riffs and soundscaped drum patterns .

Mohit started DJ’ing as a hobby continuously using various softwares and learning their uses and tricks for developing his own unique sound and music style. He started playing for his friends at house parties and other small gatherings as he was always interested in sharing new sounds & music. As the days passed by, he came in contact with other psychedelic trance music produces.He got to know and learn more about electronic music and thus could carve out the sounds that he was the most enthusiastic about.

He define his genre of music as “corrupt and twisted”. He has been responsible for dance floor stomp massacres across various venues in Delhi and NCR. He has had the pleasure for opening for various world renown artist like Highstyle, Whiptonge, Arjuna, Antagon, Junx Punx, Hyperactive 25, Wario, Fobi, kabayun, kindzadza, fungus funk, drip drop, zaiklophobia, komfuzius, gaspard, sesto sento, wishi, hyperactive 25, daash, azax syndrome, virtual light, guisseppe, confo, atriohm, archaic, megalopsy, kashyyk, frantic noise, arcek, spiral etc.
His music boast of complex geometrical arrangements of the beats and intelligent use of multiple samples overlapping with each other so as to deliver mind bending chaotic music resulting in major stomps by the dance floor Hooligans.

Sangoma presents INGRAINED INSTINCTS & DAKSINAMURTI with this live recording from their collaboration set performed for the first time at the Easter weekend 2024 in London. Ingrained Instincts is a unique project consisting of Tilemachos Vlachos, and Dafy Deliangelos from Greece. Both have shared the same passion for Psychedelic music since their very early days. They met in 2001, formed a project together, and started to develop a different sound, but one totally sympathetic to the scene, and yet wholly psychedelic, and funky! Daksinamurti is a psychedelic trance artist, ethnologist, label manager and producer from Marburg, Germany. Together with his friend Emiel he founded and runs the label Sangoma Records. Till has been performing at events and festivals worldwide since the year 2000.

Vertical (Parvati Records)

Vertical is the internationally established psytrance project of Joonas Lehtinen from Finland. The project saw daylight around 2007 and after few years of working on the sound and sending demos, he caught the interest of Giuseppe from Parvati Records. This was a big turning point in Joonas' life and with the new motivation he started to work on more material for his track repertoire.

Soon after his debut appearance on a Parvati compilation in 2009 he played his first gig outside Finland in Marseille (France) in the new year 2010. With the help of Parvati Records and guest appearances on other Labels he started to get more bookings in many legendary events and to grow a bigger fanbase in the scene.

During the past years he has performed across  Europe, Brazil, Japan, India and USA from club events to big festivals (Boom Festival, Ozora, Hadra, Modem and Soulvision to name just a few).

Vertical music is known for it's wide spectrum of styles and moods, never really staying in  one formula but aiming to push the boundaries of psytrance with his signature sound and new ideas.
