Vertigo's XXth Anniversary Compilation

Edcora is a compelling new trio from Shiraz, Iran, born from the creative union of three distinct artists: Edner Magby, Unco Made, and Ahoora Askari. Combining their diverse musical backgrounds, the project delivers a unique sonic experience on their inaugural release, "Smell of Memory."

The album is a rich tapestry of electronic genres, seamlessly weaving together elements of soft trance, mid-tempo rhythms, and the expansive sounds of psychedelic, psychill, and psybient. Punctuated by energetic drum & bass passages, the record takes the listener on an introspective voyage. Forged through a deeply collaborative process in composition, arrangement, and sound design, "Smell of Memory" invites you to explore the profound and emotional landscapes where memory and imagination intertwine.

Happy New Year dear music lovers from all parts of the World! Let the most daring dreams of yours come true!

We decided to commence this year with utterly underground and psychedelic at the same time release - EP " Nomadic Tribe" by George Asterelman (Moscow, Russia) and his out-of-this-world project ASTRAL.

This debut release George dedicated to one of the all-time greatest, the star, who shone us like a Crazy Dimond - to Victor Zolod (RIP) aka Paranoic Sensation, Terminator, Freaking, Burned Processor, and more...
We arranged the release date to 6 January - the most tragic date, when Zolod, our beloved musician and a good friend, left us forever.

This EP contains a remix on the fabulous morning track of Victor called Air Symphony. The original was made about 17 years back and, undoubtedly, used to be a super hit at the time. We are happy to give that track a new life as well as to simply release one more track of Zolod, whose tracks we used to release since the very very first release of Vertigo Records (VA-Timeless Flash, Terminator- Remedy), and which we continued to do even after he passed away 6 January 2006 (Dejavu Fabrique, The Meaning of Life, Vertigo All Around.)

So, hold on to your hats and get ready to listen to ASTRAL with debut EP- Nomadic Tribe.

Vertigo Records is back with a special Christmas gift to all faithful fans of our label and, we hope, to all new followers too. We've put together a free digital EP that consists of exclusive remixes and previously unreleased versions of some of the greatest tunes of the last two decades. Firstly we have the 2nd part of ‘In The Hands of the Shaman’ by the legendary Trold, the first part of which features on their last album ‘Time for Solution’ released on Vertigo earlier this year; then Samadhi comes with a powerfully crunchy remix of the absolute Goa Trance classic ‘Teleport’ by Man With No Name; Finnish duo Rye Smugglers drop their revision of Donna Summer's groundbreaking disco anthem ‘I feel Love’ and last but not least we have Nebula Meltdown with an amazing remix of ‘It’s Just a Ride’, the marvellous Voice of Cod's most popular tune.

Here comes Vertigo's XXth Anniversary Compilation! This release features 17 tracks created by the artists who have collaborated with us over the past two decades.

From the very beginning, Vertigo Records has been dedicated to showcasing a variety of genres within the realm of high-quality psychedelic music. This anniversary release reflects our broad approach, bringing together tracks that span diverse sounds and even different eras of Psychedelic Culture. The compilation includes twelve brand-new or revised tracks, along with five remastered classics from Vertigo's rich history.

We are especially honored to have worked with legendary artists of our time, Goa Gil (RIP) and Victor Zolod (RIP). Two of their masterpieces, originally released on our label, have been remastered and are proudly included in this compilation.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported our label's journey. A special thank you goes to:

This series of releases reflects what is happening presently on Psychedelic scene in Russia and actually has quite an interesting background. The first compilation NAMASTE FROM RUSSIA was brought out almost simultaneously with the appearing of our label 16 years ago and was immediately appreciated by Psytrance lovers all over the Globe. The second release of this series VA NAMASTE FROM RUSSIA 2 (2006] was compiled in cooperation with the cult label DEJAVU RECORDS  and yielded great success. The decade has passed since then and now we are coming up with the third part VA NAMASTE FROM RUSSIA 3, that we are perfectly sure, is bound to be loved by modern trance community. 
 The digital compilation consists of  10 conscientiously chosen  music stories .The tracks from soundmasters Delirious Noon, Transdriver, Fungus Funk and Groove Hunter were made especially for this compillation and surely going to blow you away as well as the greatest track from our resident Glooex. Following an old good Vertigo tradition of sharing our new discoveries, in this VA we introduce you a few new up-and-coming producers such as Deseptio Visus , Universcience and Nemo.
