Known for his involvement in the math-rock inspired quartet The Speed Of Sound In Seawater, Damien Verrett has also proven himself individually, with his astounding solo effort So Much Light. His debut full-length, Supine/Spellbound - released almost two years ago - was a standout release, that showed once and for all that acoustically-led music can be both powerful, technical and, most importantly, exciting.  

But now, with the release of his newest record titled Summoner, Damien once again shows that genre boundaries are there to be pushed, as this short but sweet EP shows again and again.
