This is my cover of "The Chosen Summoner" from Final Fantasy 9, originally composed by Nobuo Uematsu.  The original track has been one of my favorite songs from FF9 since the game came out!  Most of my FF9 loving friends seem to really enjoy this track also, as do many of those who never played the game- I tend to show off a lot of video game music to non-gamer friends and family, as I don't want anybody to miss out on Uematsu's magic.  Generally, they seem to find it uniquely beautiful.  For whatever reason, however, there are very few remixes of it compared with some of the other tracks in the game.  I wanted to rectify that as best I could!  :D

After a year or so of not posting anything new, there is a not so new work of mine. I've already done, 3 years ago, my own arrangement of the Valse di Fantastica by Yoko Shimomura (which you can find it here : https://soundcloud.com/landanthebutler/fantasia-fantastica), but I was not completly satisfied of it, due to the lack of modulation, mostly.

So there it is, a new arrangement of that music including everything I've learned in the past few years in composing. I hope you'll like it !
