With a steady revolving beat and intense energy, Denis Ago releases Oh Shit to much anticipation and excitement. This club-friendly track features an up-tempo beat with syncopated snare hit to create movement while the bass groove pulsates at the listener’s heartbeat to entice a dance response. At over
seven minutes long the melodies maintain intensity while the sampled vocals, allows the listener to be caught up in the action while keeping them on the dance floor. Oh Shit is well-executed as each frequency is separated allowing each dynamic to be heard, distortion-free at high volumes. Pass special attention to the scratching breakdown as it captures the downbeat and the anticipation before delivering an exclamation point to the crescendo.

Featured on NOPRESET Records, Oh Shit is a potential club circuit hit, as the instrumentation and production fit in nicely with any dance environment. Although there are not too many rhythmic changes on this track the overall theme and the build-up of tension before the vocal release delivers the same
elicit response with every play through the loop.

World-famous Hungarian DJ and producer Peter Makto dropped his solo debut EP last April, under the label he founded, Truesounds Music. The Sharp Lines EP, the label's most successful release in 2018, is a mesmerizing collection of four different angles on one powerful techno/house tune. Almost one year later, Truesounds is going to release a new set of remixes: the Sharp Lines - Remixes EP. 

An interesting mix of contemporary instrumentation and old-school sounds, such as the hypnotic tubular bell synth blended with modern pad patterns, the remix by author Makto and his buddy Gregory S gives an ethereal feel to this medium-beat, velvety tune. A distinguishing element of the track is the airy and sensual vocals by Katya, a perfect match for the eerie atmosphere of this remix. The track starts with a simple but compelling beat, soon enriched by Katya's soothing vocals and followed by new rhythmical and melodic layers, intertwined in a complex but DJ-friendly texture. The complexity of the rhythmic patterns makes this remix very versatile: it is perfect for the dancefloor, but also for quieter moments or a warm-up workout routine.

The quality of the production is, quite obviously, excellent. After all, both Peter Makto and Gregory S are veterans in DJing and electronic music production: we had no doubt about their ability to create and remix a tune meant to fill the biggest dance halls on the planet.

Both Hungarians and both very popular in their own Country and around the world, Makto and Gregory S worked with big names in the international electronic music scene (from Dubfire to Joris Voorn, to name a few). They put their talents and experiences together to create Truesounds Music, a label that, under their supervision, will surely release many other excellent works in the future. We can't wait to hear more.

The Italian underground pioneer Robbie J has presented “So Crazy” released on his label Baxxline. After 30 years of music career Roberto still knows how to move the dance floor, never trivial, always on point. 

Thanks to his solid background he managed to gig with worldwide famous artists like Marco Carola, Luca Agnelli and Michael Meyer. 

This time he has used all his experience and music culture, delivering a track that features great vocal samples, which remind the golden ages of House Music, when amazing soul voices were mixed with raw and dark drum machines, analog synthesizers and sensual bass lines. The horn patterns suit very well with percussion textures, giving to the track euphoria and thrill, perfect to boost the party instantly.

Denis Ago, after spending the last period gigging around Italy thanks to his releases on Distortion and Nopreset Records, is back on Baxxline with his new release “Andale!”

This is trademark stuff from Monopoli based producer. Catchy rolling basses, intelligent kick drums mixed with 4/4 percussion patterns are insane. But the real surprise is the chanted vocal cuts, that throw off the listener and will be sung at high volume on many a dance floor.
