The Ivy Is Gone started off one cold night a few years ago after seeing Sam Valdez perform in Reno, NV. Like many songs, it is about longing and moving on to the next chapter.

Verviers combines modern folk with their deep backgrounds in classical music. The group likes to think they are channeling all things 4AD, Nick Drake, Dead Can Dance, Calexico and Bartok - at a Bach recital.  The collective is percussionist/keyboardist Keaton Casa, guitarist Troy Casa and typically includes special guests on cello, viola and trumpet.
