The seventeenth episode of our mix series showcases Philipp Drube, who’s DJing career started with his first gig in Hamburg 2011. After a couple of years he moved to Berlin where he co-founded Space Trax label with Frank Heise.
His meticulous and hand-tailored sets focus on fast-paced techno and different faces of trance. A blend which earns him appearances at Berlin’s most established clubs as well as several worldwide bookings.

In this mix, Philipp reflects on the moods he experienced during some cold and dark January days in Berlin, paired with a wave of inspiration that came after the Space Trax showcase at RSO in mid January.

Re-recording of our opening set from 22 November 2024 at Elysia, Basel

Last November, we had the honour of opening the night for some of our long-time Norwegian trance idols. We had put a lot of thought and preparation into the track selection and wanted to share the set, so we decided to replay and record it. Very happy we got to play tracks by some dear friends on one of Europe's best soundsystems. Heartfelt thanks to Silas and Luu for making this possible and to everyone who was part of that memorable night.

We're super proud to present blaucast 31 by Berlin based alchemist transire ⚗️ One of the scene's finest and deepest diggers, @transire unearthed two hours of rare early prog psy and goa trance gems that display his passion for the craft.

This one is a treat for minimal psy heads, filled with tracks oozing personality and funky psychedelia. A delightful selection that flows beyond the ordinary, visiting some really special places and tastefully capturing the essence of that 90s/00s sound.

[ENGLISH] Known for his highly progressive, dynamic and deep tracks, Egorythmia has built a unique identity in psytrance: solid basslines, hypnotic atmospheres and a groove that keeps you hooked from start to finish.

 In this set, recorded back in November 2011, I’ve put together some of my favorite tracks from the project — including the hit “Beyond Gravity” and the remix of “Mechanizm,” as well as productions that were brand new at the time and have since become true classics, such as “Dark Ages,” “Night Shift,” “Spin It” and “White Tunnel.”

You’ll also hear collaborations and remixes with names like Ace Ventura, Ritmo, Zyce, MUTe and Quantize, weaving almost an hour of music into an intense journey.

Yes, this is another set I found in the old Psy Nation archives. And a tribute like this deserves to be heard again — so I’m sharing it once more.
