Honored to have Marwaan on my show HRAGE.

Marwaan is a producer from Melbourne where he has grown up admiring and emulating the versatilely of electronic music. He is apart of the music collective Al Gharib where he and his best friends manage and curate music releases across a p of electronic genres. He has started releasing his music this year, with his first release out on Al Gharibs compilation album entitled ‘Palestine’ and has a number of releases planned in the near future, both by himself as well as a number of collaborative works.

"A mix series focused on showcasing the spicy mix of ghetto house, electro & everything in between."

Penera are two lads from Poland, who treat the boundaries of genres and styles quite freely. Their productions are a hybrid of modern electro and techno sounds, with a strong dose of inspiration from old school breaks, jungle culture, and the vulgarity of the era during which the clubs were ruled by trance. Penera are strongly associated with P23 and CEL clubs, they also represent PR1VAT3 D4NC3R rave series. Penera’s tracks have been released by, among others, Shall Not Fade and Bourassa Records. At the beginning of 2021, they launched their own label POTOP Records. The coming months will bring their release on British label HARDLINE. Boys already appeared in clubs in France, Ireland and Israel. They did performances for HÖR, Boiler Room, and several failed drifts in the back of Lidl.

Hedda being heavily involved in the bass music scene in Berlin, she always serves you with bangers of the fast and hectic sort to create that kind of multigenre-rave we’re all so down. After joining the @capsule.berlin team in 2021, as well as organising club events and raves, she has expanded her taste to a mix of juke, jungle, hardcore, breakbeat, gabber, trance and dembow with fast-paced drums, hard hitting kicks and the catchiest vocals there is. My favourite parties are always queer parties. I'm use to go out in my Paris born & raised city, and always tries to go to parties. I feel safe and surrounded by friends (Bizarre Festival, Soeurs Malsaines, Mycelium,...)

Essential element in a night:
A queer audience is really important for me, as I feel more safe and in a "family place".

Essential element of a track: 
The VOCALS! That's everything for me, it makes a track so much more personal!

Recommendation: 
Over the past 6 months, I discovered Bashkka (@bashkka), an artist I truly recommend, and her last EP went out on UMAY (@umay_works), Nene H's new label I also recommend.

Podcast AÜRA #008 - Veryl East

It seems that many of my favourite trance DJs have a habit of releasing ambient and other non-trance productions from time to time. I felt like putting some of those tracks together in a mix, since I appreciate them a lot but usually don't get to play them in my sets. The idea was to have all the emotional soundscapes and spherical ambience of trance, just without the usual percussion. I hope you find this as heart-warming as I do. Think of it as an homage to my idols.

Wisteria ('Blauregen') were in bloom when I recorded this mix, hence the name.
