Alcotomic continue blazing their comeback trail since reforming in 2024 with their 9th new single called Ruby Shoes. After a cardboard box of over 40 demo cassettes were discovered during COVID that dated back to 1999, the band have been busy re-recording dozens of songs from that period in the band’s history, including Ruby Shoes. With a full-length album due out later this year, all songs were mixed by rising star Mark Rains in L.A (Rival Sons, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club). Ruby Shoes also features a video directed by Mark Bakaitis, which is shot on Super 8 featuring socials superstar Samii LaMorte. Since reforming in 2024, Alcotomic has dropped 8 new singles, with over 215k streams and 110k listeners on Spotify alone. Album and tour dates to be announced shortly.

The album moves from gentle denial to collective amnesia, blending progressive and art rock with cinematic soundscapes, melancholic guitars, and philosophical lyricism.
Voices drift like ghosts across vast atmospheric textures, evoking the emptiness left when memory becomes myth.

At its core, Fields of Forgetting asks a single question:
When everything fades, what remains real — the truth, or the story we choose to remember?
