Professor Roth's debut EP, self-released on his newly formed label Maestro, is music that feels half remembered. Familiar enough to settle into, strange enough to keep shifting beneath your feet, it lives in that sweet spot where groove and abstraction lean into one another. Dusty textures, hazy melodies and understated rhythms never demand attention, yet quietly refuse to let go. Every track feels like another realm of the same dream: warm, weightless and just slightly out of focus.

‘Daydreaming’ is an inviting first step into the haze, opening the door without ever fully revealing what's on the other side. Gentle movement carries drifting melodies that seem to appear and disappear with every listen. An ethereal vocal breakdown creates the feeling of being quietly carried away from its hypnotic groove before pulling you back under its spell. Patient and understated, ‘The Way It Is’ lets the groove do the talking while subtle details gradually come into focus. Dubby percussive chaos is softened by warm, lifelike pads, encouraging your body to move while your mind wanders elsewhere.

As the name suggests, ‘Swells’ arrives in waves. Layers fold over one another, building and dissolving without urgency. There's a beautiful tension between motion and stillness, leaving the track suspended somewhere between the dancefloor and a reverie. ‘Shades’ is a fitting close that blurs the edges even further. Soft, hypnotic and quietly psychedelic, it feels less like an ending and more like waking up slowly. Content to linger in that in-between a little longer, glitchy samples drift through swirling soundscapes, keeping the dancefloor gently spun until the very end.

For the first time in over two decades, the Brian Aneurysm’s album Amplified is available as a digital release, fully re-mastered, plus remixes and bonus tracks.

Twenty-three years after Sub Static pressed it to two slabs of wax, Amplified comes back with the gain turned up. Leading the reissue is a fresh remix package: B-Pushr, the name Bernhard Pucher works under today, returns to his own source material with the perspective of two decades, rewiring elements from every song into a Frankenstein monster. “Miss MJ, one of the brightest signals in the current techno crop, mashes up “Amplified” and "14 Fingers" and takes them straight to the floor: harder edges, tighter headroom, no apologies. Syrte, the IDM veteran, does the opposite and pulls "Can’t You See" apart into resonance and residue, finding the tune hiding in the room tone.

Behind them sits the album itself. Seven tracks released in 2003 into the moment when Cologne minimal was quietly rewriting what a techno album could sound like. Original stock has continued to spin on turntables, in wantlists and in secondhand bins. Cologne's decks.de called it right at the time: "fat minimal tracks on double 12-inch, forward progress for home and floor. Recommend!!!"

Now remastered from the original WAVs, Amplified arrives on digital platforms for the first time. The full 2003 album plus three remixes that treat it as a live wire rather than a museum piece.Written and produced by Bernhard Pucher.Remixes by Miss MJ and Stefan Weise (Syrte).

For its 8th release, Mandorla Records welcomes Hungarian DJ and producer Raqpar, a long-time friend of the label and someone who has been closely connected to our musical journey.

A true underground artist, Raqpar has been shaping his musical identity for well over a decade. His early interest in music production and DJing has grown into a distinctive sound rooted in quality, experimentation, and a deep connection with the dancefloor.

In his music, Raqpar loves to balance on the edge of genres, naturally blending elements of minimal, breakbeat, house, dub techno and tribal influences. His productions are defined by meticulously crafted details, unique rhythms and a playful approach to groove — qualities that have made him a distinctive figure within the Hungarian underground scene.

This six-track EP brings together three original productions and three remixes, offering different perspectives on Raqpar’s musical world while staying true to the character and spirit of the originals.

This release also carries a very special meaning for all of us at Mandorla Records. We are releasing this EP on a truly beautiful day in Raqpar’s life — the day his two beautiful twin daughters are born. A new release, a new chapter, and most importantly, two new pure souls are entering the world.
