For its tenth release, Gabu Records presents Collect 01, a finely tuned compilation bringing together a diverse lineup of talent from its expanding global orbit. True to the label’s vision - championing deep sounds from the Middle East and beyond - this Various Artists release distills Gabu’s essence into six standout tracks. Baloo & Carlo open with Vera, a breezy, sunlit groove full of warmth and understated funk, setting the tone for what follows. Nail steps in with On The Corner, a moody, heads-down deep house roller with rich textures and hypnotic flair. Emanuele Barilli brings the bounce with Deep & Fun, playful yet grounded in groove, a perfect balance of dancefloor energy and musicality. On the back half, Horsemen’s Back Then rides in with nostalgic chords and crisp drums—an ode to classic house with a modern twist. BNinjas offers New Wave, a standout cut blending groove and snappy percussion into an irresistible rhythm. Closing the collection, Hermit delivers Dance Therapy, a dub-tinged, percussive journey made for sweaty late-night sets.
