After encountering a Nubian mountain tribe, Joan and Jack's romance is rekindled. Joan tells Jack that the jewel is not a gem stone but Al-Julhara. In Kadir, Omar intends to use a smoke-and-mirror special effect provided by a British rock promoter to convince onlookers that he is the prophet who will unite the Arab world. Jack, Joan, and Al-Julhara arrive to expose Omar but are captured. Omar suspends Jack and Joan with ropes over a deep pit (a scenario taken from Joan's biggest-selling novel, 
The Savage Secret
) while Al-Julhara is in a stockade. Ralph, along with the Sufi tribe, arrives in time to rescue the three prisoners.


The following day, Jack and Joan are married by Al-Julhara. While Ralph is genuinely happy for Jack and Joan, he laments once again having gained nothing for his efforts, but Tarak acknowledges that he is a true Sufi friend and presents him with a jeweled dagger as Jack and Joan happily sail away down the Nile.

The Jewel of the Nile

 is the 1985 sequel to 1984's 
Romancing the Stone
 and once again reunites Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner, and Danny DeVito as they travel to Africa when a ruler enlists their help in locating a precious jewel that has been lost.


An Arab ruler, who meets Wilder at a book signing engagement and says that he's the tough but fair ruler of Kadir. He offers to treat her like a queen at his palace, while she writes a book about him. Jack realizes there's something not right about Omar when an arab, Tarak, tells Jack, adventurer and hero, and Ralph, criminal and redeemed villain, who Omar really is and that he has their greatest treasure, The Jewel Of The Nile, in his possession. Then when Jack's and Joan's ship explodes because of Omar, he decides to team up with Tarak and Ralph and go find the jewel in Omar's kingdom.


Wilder discovers the truth about Omar, that he's in fact ruthless and will keep her captive in his castle until she finishes her book to show the world he's a benevolent ruler, who will unite the arab world. Joan and Al-Julhara, the jewel of the nile and hero, escape and team up with Jack and are able to flee Omar's army. He later captures Jack, Joan, and Al-Julhara and sets up a horrible trap for them but thanks to Ralph they escape. Omar plans to use a british rock and roll technician's smoke and mirrors special effects at an upcoming festival to convince the Arab world that he is a prophet, who will unite the arab world under his rule.


Joan Wilder is hired by Middle Eastern dictator Omar to write a sanitized version of his biography. He holds her prisoner in his fortress until she complies, with Jack Colton attempting to rescue her. It turns out Omar has stolen the sacred jewel of the local tribal peoples. Jack plans to steal back this jewel but in reality the "Jewel" is actually the tribes' holy man whom Omar is keeping cap

A long-term goal of exoplanet studies is the identification and detection of biosignature gases. Beyond the most discussed biosignature gas O2, only a handful of gases have been considered in detail. In this study, we evaluate phosphine (PH3). On Earth, PH3 is associated with anaerobic ecosystems, and as such, it is a potential biosignature gas in anoxic exoplanets. We simulate the atmospheres of habitable terrestrial planets with CO2- and H2-dominated atmospheres and find that PH3 can accumulate to detectable concentrations on planets with surface production fluxes of 1010 to 1014 cm-2 s-1 (corresponding to surface concentrations of 10s of ppb to 100s of ppm), depending on atmospheric composition and ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. While high, the surface flux values are comparable to the global terrestrial production rate of methane or CH4 (1011 cm-2 s-1) and below the maximum local terrestrial PH3 production rate (1014 cm-2 s-1). As with other gases, PH3 can more readily accumulate on low-UV planets, for example, planets orbiting quiet M dwarfs or with a photochemically generated UV shield. PH3 has three strong spectral features such that in any atmosphere scenario one of the three will be unique compared with other dominant spectroscopic molecules. Phosphine's weakness as a biosignature gas is its high reactivity, requiring high outgassing rates for detectability. We calculate that tens of hours of JWST (James Webb Space Telescope) time are required for a potential detection of PH3. Yet, because PH3 is spectrally active in the same wavelength regions as other atmospherically important molecules (such as H2O and CH4), searches for PH3 can be carried out at no additional observational cost to searches for other molecular species relevant to characterizing exoplanet habitability. Phosphine is a promising biosignature gas, as it has no known abiotic false positives on terrestrial planets from any source that could generate the high fluxes required for detection.


Both the purported phosphine signal and this new interpretation of the data center on radio astronomy. Every chemical compound absorbs unique wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, which includes radio waves, X-rays and visible light. Astronomers use radio waves, light and other emissions from planets to learn about their chemical composition, among other properties.


In 2017 using the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope, or JCMT, the U.K.-led team discovered a feature in the radio emissions from Venus at 266.94 gigahertz. Both phosphine and sulfur dioxide absorb radio waves near that frequency. To differentiate between the two, in 2019 the same team obtained follow-up observations of Venus using the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array, or ALMA. Their analysis of ALMA observations at frequencies where only sulfur dioxide absorbs led the team to conclude that sulfur dioxide levels in Venus were too low to account for the signal at 266.94 gigahertz, and that it must instead be coming from phosphine.


Aluminum phosphide (Celphos, Phostoxin, Quick Phos) and zinc phosphide are solids used as grain fumigants and as a rodenticide, respectively. Zinc phosphide is often mixed with bait food such as cornmeal, which can be a danger to pets and children. When phosphides are ingested or exposed to moisture, they release phosphine gas. Phosphine gas may also be released when acetylene is made by the action of water on calcium carbide which is contaminated with calcium phosphide as is commonly the case.





Inhalation is the major route of phosphine toxicity. 
Odor is not an adequate indicator of phosphine's presence and may not provide reliable warning of hazardous concentrations

Until the thirteenth century, medieval monks and nuns made most of these books themselves, preparing parchment, mixing inks, laboriously copying texts by hand, and painting exquisite images in the time allotted to work between the liturgical hours. Some monks composed texts of their own, like the Spanish monk Beatus of Liébana, whose commentary on the Book of Revelation was enriched with vivid illustrations (1991.232.1). Medieval nuns, like the poet Hroswitha of Gandersheim (died ca. 1002) and the mystic Hildegard of Bingen (died 1179), also authored original works.


Every stage in the creation of a medieval book required intensive labor, sometimes involving the collaboration of entire workshops. For a long time now it just seems every time I die is an instant headshot. I've used up all my health only a handful of times in hundreds of matches where it used to be a regular occurrence so much so that doctor and physician were always the first thing I took. Now it's like why bother? I'll just be dead the first time I get shot.


Which lead to my question : are those player with that insane headshot skill some how cheat ? And does Vanguard work the way Riot advertising ? Also what type of cheat do they use most and how to spot them ?


Most actor headshot dimensions are 10 x 8 which means there may only be a couple of inches of your top on show. A low cut top can look very different with this aspect ratio. Likewise, a thick coat with collars up can look disproportionate when you can only see a small part of the coat.

I enjoy meeting actors and knowing that I can make significant contribution in furthering their acting career makes me feel good. Your headshot is the most important marketing tool you have. There are 60,000 actors on Spotlight. With other directories there are around 200,000 actors looking for work. Less than 3% of them will earn £20,000 + from acting so presenting yourself professionally to casting directors is a must. There is little chance of casting directors listening to your voicereel or watching your showreel if you have presented a terrible headshot.


I'm new to this forum and I hope somebody can help.

For quite a while it has become almost impossible to win a PvP or Takeover or Shootout on PS4. I am rank 141 and my sets of cards are on level 3, yet all sorts of players kill me instantly with just one shot.
No matter full health, strong tonics and the necessary cards, it is most of the time just one shot.
Not even always a headshot but simple bodyshots with an Evans or Varmint, Bolt Action or any other general weapon.
Even players with a rank 2 or 10 or 27 kill me as if I was a beginner.
In brawls when somebody pulls me to the ground I can't defend myself and I am killed by low ranks (recently it was a rank 5 player wrestling me to the ground and killing me).

Then there are the headshots.
Obviously, everybody can do headshots now, even the rank 1 players. But it's not just a headshot but they jump from behind a corner and give you an instant kill/headshot while not even aiming at you.
It all happens within a millisecond, so fast that it's impossible to even blink.
Who in the world can react so fast, lift the weapon, aim and shoot while coming around the corner?

On the other hand, I can shoot whatever I want, it's almost impossible to kill an opponent. Bolt Action or two pistols (Navy and Volcanic), Pump guns, even explosive ammo, it doesn't matter.
Yesterday I unloaded two full magazins of my pistols plus 6 shots from Double-Barreled-Shotgun and the player had lost only half of her health.

What in the world...?
I am not shooting cotton swabs, so how can others kill so easily and I have to shoot all I have?

My internet connection is perfect. Fast and steady, so it can't be lag.

I am really fed up with this. Most of the time I can be happy when I get 3 kills in a PvP.
Has anyone any idea?




I have also considered cheaters even though it is allegedly hard or even impossible to really hack the PS4. There are glitches according to other players and some internet sites, though.
But that would mean that half the players used glitches.


Speaking of auto aim (which I prefer, to be honest), I've noticed that whenever I take strong tonics I get a headshot and therefore instant kill whereas I get a kill by only two or three bodyshots when I don't take tonics.
