Frans Björk - Hills Forests And Lakes [KOIVU24]

In both songs I wanted to try to emulate elements of some early house records I love. Specifically, the simple yet elaborate chords riffs, which are what I’ve always been most drawn to. The other element I wanted was a chopped vocal sample. I couldn’t find any that worked, so I made some myself (thanks Jamie & Vanessa!). I’m hoping the end result are two musical, danceable, positive tracks! If life is a book, page one is LOVE.

Jamie Prado's debut EP on PUZL Records 'Milk & Honey' is a 2 track collection that serves up a soothing concoction of warm harmonies and silky grooves that will soothe the soul with every sip. In the opening track, Prado drizzles sensual harmonies over a funky lead synth that pairs with a bouncy, uplifting rhythm to keep the energy at just the right temperature. Seven Seas uses a light array of percussive elements that nestle softly in between a luminous piano chord progression while a beautiful, feathered vox decorates the arrangement with a tranquil mood. As far as libations go, 'Milk & Honey' is best served chilled, on ice, during a warm summer day by the pool.

A pumped up take on the fantastic track "LFT" (Looking for trouble) by Quadron. It's an old track, but I started re- editing this track years ago, and haven't had the energy to make it into what I wanted before now. Enjoy!
