This 15th label release offers a sublime original production from up and coming Austin, Texas-based artist Kai Castro, and it's paired with a fantastic remix by the globally-noteworthy and Toronto-based powerhouse artist Tim Penner.

First up is the original mix of Juxtaposed. In Kai Castro's own words, "Juxtaposed, true to its name, was meant to fuse two different styles. It was inspired by both the subdued, dark textures of techno and the soaring heights that can only be accomplished through a progressive house buildup." Big melodic sounds paired with pumping grooves make for excellent dish here, served-up best during peak hour.

The second track is the Tim Penner remix of this tune and it takes a darker, driving tech tone in reinterpreting the original. A perfect choice for underground settings, this mix tastefully makes use of key melodic elements of the original while really curating the overall feel in the spirit of brooding grooves & rhythms and a relentless pumping low-end. It's a true treat to feature the finely-crafted sounds of this Canadian mastermind on this release. Let this merciless melee of a song loose during late nights in dark rooms.

Both of these versions pair together quite nicely in providing a choice of mood for progressive house and techno / melodic techno DJ sets alike!
