David Liebe Hart, the lovably strange ventriloquist from Adult Swim's Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, presents the free album, Go Into The Light.

Straying from the under-produced aesthetic of David's past releases, Go Into The Light marks the introduction of an updated sound courtesy of electronic composer Jonah Mociun.  The free download/"mixtape" is in preparation for an official album, Astronaut, coming in January, and it's also available to purchase on cassette (with a bonus track and sticker).  

Though most of the songs on Go Into The Light are remakes from David's vast catalog, Mociun's re-imagining of the compositions breathes new light into them. And David sounds better than ever, with uncharacteristically strong and sure-footed delivery and interesting production.

"Michael Likes To Smoke His Weed (New Version)" is the bass-heavy and psychedelic first single, complete with echoed falsetto background vocals and lyrics about a guy who smokes a lot of pot.
