Hi! October has almost flown by, and it's been quite a while since our last podcast, which means...   
Vestnik is here, and we present to you a new podcast from our dear guest Polina Wigglewop.   
@wigglewop is a DJ and a resident of the former "RMC" club in Chelyabinsk. She hosted parties with her project "Druzural" and is now working on a new audio-visual project called @kill-myradio-station , serving as an archive for her selections and the people she enjoys.   
"This mix is built on my love for house music; there's a bit of mischief in the selection, I experiment and I am honest with my listeners and myself," - Wigglewop.

Hello friends! November is already here, and along with it comes the podcast of our new guest - @electivenn. 
Nikita is a musician, DJ and producer from the former capital of electronic music, the city of Izhevsk. In the fall of 2023, he and his team @flacudm hosted parties in their own nightclub and art space ADD. The club existed for 3 months, after that Nikita returned to the northern capital to continue his work.
Currently he is based in Saint Petersburg and actively promotes his work within our city and beyond. Nikita is the founder of the young label @visioner-records , on which he has released a compilation of artists "Vision I" with foreign guests from France, Puerto Rico and Colombia. 
In his DJ sets, Nikita prefers deep, hypnotic techno rhythms, spatial percussion, and trance sequences, which are beautifully selected. "Friends, just enjoy my track selection, and the music will tell you everything for me»  - Electiven.

@Harlamy is a DJ, musician, founder of Vestnik Podcast from St. Petersburg. Mary has performed at such venues as @testfm_radio , @RenegadeRadioCamp , @Kivachradio and others.
During my long career as a DJ, I managed to perform in Moscow, Yekaterinburg and Kazan, at various events.
In July, 2024 participated in an artist compilation on independent music label @visioner-records . Currently working on new material that she will be releasing on Vestnik soon. 
Mary is a lover of different music genres, including a great selector. This time she favored straight drumming with dub, hypnotic and trance sound.

@Nyurguyana is a DJ originally from Yakutsk, based in St. Petersburg. 
Starting out with a love for electro, she has gradually expanded her musical palette to include various forms of broken music such as: bass, breaks, dubstep and drum & bass. 
In her sets she finds connecting threads between different styles and uses them to create a unique story. 
We would like to remember and highlight her morning sets on the veranda of the former nightclub @stackenschneider , where the combination of music, dancing and the sunrise over the «Savior on the Spilled Blood» created an unforgettable atmosphere of serenity.

Yana has established herself as an artist capable of constantly creating sophisticated, genre-breaking sets that respect the roots of electronic music while pushing its boundaries.

Vestnik Podcast 08 - Nyurguyana

Drive, energy, love and eclectically developed taste, Denis came to the world of electronic music inspired by the Asian and Scandinavian scenes, and more. His tracks, which he plays mostly live, one of which we listened to at Blank in St. Petersburg, are characterized by their rhythmic patterns and sound design, it's more about the primal, going definitely into the vibes of the sound system that immerse you in a full sound pool. In places, it's minimalistic without overload, but insistent and grounded. If to compare, Autechre comes to mind, it is Denis Kalinichenko aka Greenline Engineer, the keeper of "Aspect" formation and a member of KURS Radio team, DJ, sound producer, promoter, co-founder of Skarn cassette label.

Vestnik Podcast 09 - Greenline Engineer

We continue to explore the non-trivial edges of electronic sound, this time together with the landmark heroes of the St Petersburg scene — Tsyo and Vollok.

Vitya Tsyo is closely related to the history of important local projects: he was at the origins of the «Yzeech» club and also curated the program of independent radio TESTFM. By now, the artist has expanded the geography of his activities, also becoming a resident of the Kazan bar «Sol'».

Grisha Vollok is one of the founders of the well-known promo Blatant and a resident of «Izich». He joined TESTFM soon after the radio team first listened to his recordings, immediately inviting the authentic DJ on air.

The friendship formed since then led our heroes to establish a creative association «Psix», focused on experimental sound and musical avant-garde. 
Today's issue, which they casually recorded during one of their home get-togethers, turned out to be similar in content.

Let's continue getting acquainted with the creativity of vinyl selectors: Yura Hidikel is a Petersburg DJ, a passionate digger, and a resident of the independent local label traxual.

The artist has numerous radio appearances, performances at key venues of the city and major festivals, including Sun Spirit, Skazka and Picnic on the roadside. His arsenal includes an impressive collection of records that grows from event to event.

In the podcast for Vestnik, Yura weaves together jungle, breakbeat, IDM, and trip-hop, constructing a sonic narrative in the present moment.

Ron is a dynamic emerging artist infusing dance music with a fresh perspective. During the pandemic, he shifted from hip hop to dive into dance music production. 

While discovering various dance genres, he stumbled upon a Spotify playlist packed with Footwork, Booty Bass, and Ghettotech tracks, sparking an instant passion. Since then, he’s released music on labels like BrokenTraxx, Moveltraxx, Teethy, Pineapple Records, and beyond.

Vestnik Podcast 24 - Ron Mercy

Ser Martin is a selector, producer, and promoter exploring the hidden facets of underground techno and house. As a resident of Kazan’s art center Werk and creator of the micro-media ༒KT༒, Sergey makes a significant contribution to the development of the local scene.
His performances, alongside venues in Tbilisi and Yerevan, are remembered by the walls of capital and regional clubs, and in 2023 the artist had the opportunity to perform at the Signal festival.
The musician’s debut EP was released on the Welofi label in 2025. The release features a synthesis of house, techno, trance, bass, and breakbeat with hints of abstract textures.

Groza is a multi-genre DJ, founder of the party series, podcasts, and the eponymous community “Pryg-skok”, and one of the key figures in Yekaterinburg’s electronic music scene.
“I try to regularly package the music I discover into mixes — it’s an easier way to track how I’m evolving and how my taste is changing. Among my recent releases are mixes for Random Org., Катэраг, and KURS radio.”
“Lately, I’ve been focusing on a more restrained sound. In my mixes, I emphasize techno, tech house, and minimal. But don’t expect an overly dry sound from me — I love to rap, so I always leave room for breakbeat and bassline.”

Vestnik Podcast 26 - Groza

Caitlyn Kasha is a DJ and producer from St. Petersburg, one of the key representatives of the local scene.
Katya has many sets and live shows at key venues on her account, including her native club Blank, where she became a resident in 2023.

The artist's tracks can be found in the discography of St. Petersburg labels. She created one of them for fun in 2019 — now Kucha Records is reaching a new level with the upcoming vinyl release on the Dutch distributor One Eye Witness.

Katya prefers live mixes to studio recordings, so in the new issue of Vestnik Podcast you will find a set from the Blank New Year party.

Part IV: Time for Nature - cj tee

NLV is a DJ and producer from Saint Petersburg. She is a resident of the Vestnik project, District parties by the “Bazovoe Techno” team, and the “Vritme” bar-club. Her portfolio includes performances at such iconic venues as Mutabor, Blank, Raf25, Stackenschneider, kiki, and other cult locations. In 2019, she released her debut EP “Call Your Life” on the local label Out The Frame Records.

Harlamy is a cultural figure and producer from Saint Petersburg. In 2024, she founded the Vestnik Podcast project.
Her work can be explored through radio shows and podcasts: Kivach Radio, Renegade Radio Camp, Blatant, TESTFM, Radio REA, Threads Radio, 1020 Radio, Tracklistings, МЕЧТА and District Podcast.

Part IV: Time for Nature - Harlamy b2b NLV

Adrena Lina is a DJ and producer, formerly known under the nickname Linnea. The artist, who settled in St. Petersburg, has firmly established herself in the lineups of capital clubs and key Russian venues over the years of her career.
Raised by the cold of the Arctic North, Linnea, following the call of her heart, gravitates towards a warm and dreamy sound with numerous bass lines. This new podcast is the quintessence of a long search for the very music from her dreams.
Soon we will hear the first release from Adrena Lina, and until then, enjoy the selection of prog house and trance, resonating with the farewell to summer and the entry into autumn melancholy.

Vestnik Podcast 28 - Adrena Lina

In the new episode of Vestnik Podcast, we get acquainted with the work of Nesq, a producer, multi-genre musician, live performer and DJ from the Urals. He is known for tracks on SUBWISE, 7.1.6/Label and several self-releases, and soon a compilation with his participation will be released on the vinyl label 343.

In addition to his own projects, Nesq has been involved in sound production for notable rap artists, and his recordings and mixes can be found on 5BYKV RADIO, CODERED, TESTFM, КОМНАТА and Istanbul's NOH RADIO.

The artist has been developing the underground scene since 2007 and during this time has performed in a dozen cities in Russia and abroad. Among the projects with his participation are RAYONS, Sativa Dreams, Ural Beat Junkies, Bratan Selecta and ЖВХ.

We listen to Nesq's analogue live, recorded in St. Petersburg's 'Audio Club'. Inside is a fusion of experimental electronics and sampling, where the sound fluctuates freely between atmospheric ambient, warm house rhythms and energetic breakbeat.

Vestnik Podcast 29 - Nesq (Live in Audio Club)

RAVE-instructor is a DJ, mentor, and promoter. The artist got her start in electronic music in Saint Petersburg, where she not only performed regularly at Stackenschneider, Kruzhok, Masts, Blank, and Union, but also hosted her own parties as part of the RAW&VOICE project.

Two years ago, music led Ira to Asia, where she found a new creative home. Today, RAVE-instructor splits her life between Bali and Seoul, becoming an integral part of the local electronic scene. In the Korean capital, you can hear her on Seoul Community Radio, Extended Radio, as well as in clubs and bars: Run, Kiss, and Contact.

In Bali, Ira performs at mimimamam, Platonic, Green Door, and Tarot Bar.
Beyond her DJ career, she is also developing as a promoter—organizing events for the avant-garde club Klymax, which monthly hosts stars of the electronic underground from around the world.

In her mix for Vestnik Podcast, the artist captures the vibe of a vibrant summer day—light, warm, and full of energy, like a greeting from the sunny island of Bali.

Ganjelka is an eclectic performer from St. Petersburg, familiar to local listeners since 2021. Her nickname has been captured on posters for venues that have had a significant influence on the city's electronic scene: yzeech, Blank, kiki, Bird Radio, and others.

The artist's recognizable style is shaped by a blend of experimental genres and their elements: IDM, future garage, industrial, distorted bass, and tribal textures.

In her recording for 'Vestnik,' Ganjelka once again embarks on a journey through abstract forms and emotional states, traversing the steps of a multilayered sound architecture.

We present the third mix from our summer video podcast series: a back-to-back set by two friends — like-minded musicians and creators Electiven and Essencid.

He is the owner of the independent label Visioner Records and concert director of the МЕС team, with years of experience in music production and distribution.

She is a DJ, creator of promo Desma, a producer with releases on international and Russian labels, as well as part of the Visioner Records and Vestnik Podcast teams.

Both have numerous performances in St. Petersburg and other Russian cities, radio broadcasts, and their own parties, including a joint event with a visiting artist from Berlin that took place in June of this year.

Part IV: Time for Nature  - Essencid b2b Electiven

Chuddy is an emerging producer, experienced DJ, and motion designer. Born in the Southern Urals, lived in Moscow, but settled in Saint Petersburg.

"Right now in my mixes, I enjoy building development by seeking balance between logical-energetic continuation and unpredictable choices of groove and vibe, blending all kinds of IDM, oldschool tech-step, downtempo, and modern mutations of all this combined."

"Lately, I've been interested in looking at music in the context of identity. It's cool to realize that music is a precise, or perhaps even completely precise language for understanding yourself. It's very easy to get lost in verbal constructs and the meanings behind them. But as soon as you hear a rhythm or timbre—you immediately understand: this is mine, and this isn't. And if you gather your intuitive emotional palette and describe it in words, you can catch an interesting rush of inspiration, because words themselves are keys to motivation. Right now, when I was making the cover for this mix, I used the metaphor of a mirror in which I'm reflected, and you can look into it too—and understand how much and what we have in common."

Svetiritm is a DJ and musician from Saint Petersburg who has firmly established herself on the local scene and beyond.
Sveta’s sets and live performances have lit up the stages of Signal, Ahola, Gamma, and Noiseroom festivals. She shares her vision through Imprint events, shaping the sound and atmosphere of the underground.

Last year, her release dropped on Swiss label waehlscheibe, while her mixes continue to land in podcast discographies worldwide. For Vestnik, Svetiritm delivered a dynamic set packed with deep bass and heavy, visceral dubstep.

Having spent his youth in the Netherlands, BR!NK was exploring house and techno gems, obsessed with electronic music. Nowadays, the artist produces techno himself and shares his creations with the world through labels such as Splatter, Sense Affair, Influenced Records, Trau-ma, EvilGroove, Schimmer, Raw Pendulum, Diffuse Reality and many other landmarks of the scene. Sem Smirnov is a Moscow-based DJ with a pro-rider background. In the past, the artist rode ramps and slopes at iconic spots across different parts of the world, while today he works as a men's hair stylist and is a resident of the Volchok brand.

In his selections, Semyon gravitates toward the cold sounds of EBM, minimal synth, cold wave, techno, and new beat. He regularly shares musical discoveries on RRC and KURS Radio, where he hosts a conceptual show as part of the "Demons of Sadness" collective. Among major events, he has been performing as part of the skate scene at the Outline festival for three years.

xyxa is the founder of the beloved Saint Petersburg radio balcon33, a selector, curator, and hunter of musical experiments with an academic background. She has released mixes on TESTFM, Kivach, and Bird.
Music for me is a kaleidoscope of feelings that allows me to express everything that’s difficult to convey with words. I love diving into specific genres and lesser-known releases, but first and foremost, I care about the inner dramaturgy and the opportunity to share something intimate. When words prove powerless, melody becomes the conduit between form and content.
For this podcast, I decided to create a set reflecting the palette of emotions that are hard to deal with: anger, disappointment, longing, loss, and acceptance. The inspiration came at the beginning of winter, and active work started at the end of May. I dug up my oldest archives and collected tracks that, in my view, perfectly convey these states. As a result, the set turned out melodic and dreamlike in places, and dark and frenzied in others. This is a journey I want to share and experience together with you.
