Sons of Innocence es un super grupo italo-español de productores formado por Kaoslog, HBK1 y 7thSense cuyo estreno discográfico ocupa la cara A del primer disco editado por la revista digital El Garaje de Frank. Un fin de semana de farra fue el origen de estos dos trallazos de electro industrial que suenan a fábrica abandonada y futuro distópico.
Este 2024 está siendo un gran año para el productor neoyorquino Vexillary ya que ha publicado su tercer larga duración y debuta en vinilo con los dos temas que os presentamos aquí. El energético techno con influencias de la EBM de “A New Body” da paso a un tema más introspectivo y nostálgico, perfecto cierre para un EP que funciona tanto para la pista como para el salón de tu casa.

Horror ReDubs takes the sinister soundscape of Vexillary’s third LP, Horror in Dub, and mutates it into something even darker, heavier, and more brutal. Each track from the original album is stripped to its raw core and transplanted into a new body, creating a collection that feels like a true horror sequel.

Ten hand-selected producers, chosen by Vexillary, were tasked with reimagining different tracks from Horror in Dub through their unique lenses. From the industrial IDM rework of "Insurrection" by Blush Response, to the breathtaking deep-dub update of "My Vertigo" by bass music veteran Leon Switch, to the glitch- heavy reface of "Paris Spleen" by the always innovative VHS Head, and beyond, each of the 10 collaborators has breathed new life into the album, turning it into an even more diverse and futuristic output.

With Horror ReDubs, Vexillary offers more than just a remix album—it’s a complete reinvention of fear itself, lurking within the circuits of a digital wasteland. Premiere: Vexillary - Animalic (Kris Baha ReDub) [CTR009]

Vexillary is the brainchild of New York-based producer Reza Seirafi. His diverse body of work is rooted in an alluring undercurrent of gloom and shaped by his unique scientific approach to production.

As a former chemist and perfumer, Reza became fascinated by the secret bonds between unrelated chemical ingredients that form well-balanced, otherworldly scents. Vexillary’s music follows the same process, blending a vast array of musical elements to create his own brand of decadent techno, darkwave, and EBM. Yet, Vexillary’s music is far from formulaic, and his records are proof of that.

In 2021, after releasing six EPs and spending a decade on independent labels, Vexillary founded his own imprint, con:trace. His first LP on the label, Full Frontal Lunacy, was a riveting concept album focused on a brush with madness and the resulting downfall. His coveted sophomore LP, Crash and Yearn, followed soon after in the summer of 2022. The acclaimed album showcased bolder production choices, emotive vocals, and beat-driven storytelling.

In 2024, Vexillary’s highly anticipated third LP, Horror in Dub, dropped—and it did not disappoint. This compelling electronic release saw Vexillary adding a layer of dub-tinted bass music to his technoid palette, presenting a deep dive into the realm of horror and haunting beauty. The success of the album sparked the idea for a sequel, and a remix album was conceived the same year. Horror ReDubs features remixes by the likes of Leon Switch, Kris Baha, Blush Response, and VHS Head, to name a few.

Looking ahead, we can expect Vexillary to continue making music on his own terms, further cementing his role as a true force in underground music. And if Horror in Dub and Horror ReDubs are any indication, his future explorations will undoubtedly remain anything but ordinary.
