Octopus

“Sanctuary” is a track about finding a place either physical or in your mind where you can dig into your inner emotions and heal from listening to yourself. I thought I’d weave in two themes- 1- Gregorian Chant and 2-a sample from Bebe’s Siempre Me Quedara” from the album-Pafuera Teleranas-2004, which is a beautiful passionate heartfelt tune. I sampled in the beginning speech. These are the words translated from Spanish:
“How do I say that you are breaking the corner of my bones?
That the plans for my life have fallen apart now that everything was perfect
And on top of that you absorbed by brain and I was told of my weight
Of this little body of mine…which has become a river of this little body of mine…which has become a river”
The idea of this track is to place Bebe’s song into the “Sanctuary” where the monks are singing Chant and for this emotional hurt to heal within the Sanctuary. Hope you like it-☺File is "m4a" format and approx 16.6 mb
