I've been neglecting SoundCloud, recently. With Underground finally officially released, I wanted to come back and release the singles on here, too. To prepare for the release, I ended up re-recording the entire album with new orchestra libraries, and this ended up as one of my favourite tracks to show how much of a difference that made.

An Evening with the Underground Symphonic Orchestra is a two-hour symphony/orchestral score based on the work of Toby Fox from the soundtrack of Undertale, reimagined as an orchestral work from Undertale's mix of 16-bit-ish and MIDI sounds and arranged into an imaginary film score. Undertale is one of my favourite games of all time and has one of the most intelligently-written soundtracks that I know, so this is the least that I can do to pay tribute to a game that means so much to me. The full album saw its official release in May 2022.

I made sure that none of this was original. I get really miffed when someone makes a megalo but then decides not to use any of the existing songs for that character as motifs, so I made one that exclusively uses motifs. Well, songs. Mr. Game and Watch has few motifs, to be honest.

Also I really like sound effects, can you tell?

Happy new year, take this (late) 500 follower special. Part 2 of the special will be something old of mine that should have happened a long time ago (and no it's not btr v3 although that is overdue this is more overdue because it's so much worse than btr v2 and pulverizing v5). Anyways I'm pretty proud of this cover and it's honestly one of my best tracks so far and aside from special 2 will be my last megalo for a while. Also new description format.
