Vhie Saleindra was made his first song in his home town Bandung, INDONESIA, in 2011. Vhie was raised in the Dolog Real Estate with a humorous family and as the son of a SuperMom, commenting that "getting into music was a tough and heavy thing" for her. He started getting into music at the age of 16. He spent 2 years playing vocal in local bands, featuring in a number of acts ranging in style from Hardcore to Rock and Alternative. One of the bands he played in, Reset All Memories. After years of playing vocal, he opted for an acoustic guitar. Vhie follows in the tradition of John Ondrasik's Five for Fighting.

Vhie began writing his own songs when he met his Ex-GF. She had wanted him to play a song and "serenading her with a guitar was out of the question." He has admitted he found his "true calling" when he picked up the guitar. People around the town are merely getting to hear the songs. While Vhie continues to share the affectionate biography, the couple broke up in 2012. Vhie was heart broken as can be seen in a couple of his songs. He released "Behind The Stranger" as a reference to the broke.

In 2012, Vhie released his debut mini album titled Romantic Manipulation. It was recorded as a demo, after booking a few days at a Venomous Basecamp Studios earlier in 2011, "using just an acoustic guitar and his multi-tracked vocals."The Mini Album was promoted through Vhie Saleindra Facebook page and by playing local shows. The MP3s were originally sold through mail order with a PayPal account by Vhie, and by the end of 2012 Vhie Saleindra had received thousands of plays on Facebook. Vhie Saleindra was signed by longtime label Indie Livinisia, on his new label Livinisia Records, which is distributed through Venomous Independent Label Group
