"Save Your Atoll" is a young project born in 2019 by the Italian artist Antonello Meloni, based in Sardinia. 

After a previous experience in the collective Spacedrome, of which he was cofounder and after exploring the world of bass music, published several EPs and played in many Italian cities, international festivals and some Berlin clubs, the accumulated life experiences have led to a new artistic reflection.
Deep sound and Techno are his new language that is the foundation for a musical expression rich in ambient and atmospheric elements that outline the storytelling. 

After the first year dedicated to presentations and to the recording of dozens of podcasts in 2020 Save Your Atoll begins to release its own productions, first with a single with strong influences "Burial" then contributing to the compilation for the 10 years of The Gods Planet with Mediterranea on TGP X and finally publishing in January 2021 The Universal Pattern, an Ep. of three self-produced tracks.
Several releases are planned for 2021.

07 - @biocym is an artistic project from Italy that seeks to awaken emotions by expressing its feelings towards reality and the use of atmospheres and scenarios reflected in its sound. The main nucleus of his work reflects the attitude that man must embody in order to move in a dark and inscrutable reality that he must face when he inevitably explores it.

Biocym represents the way in which the artist approaches the way of awakening in himself by contemplating the infinite variety of landscapes of reality and proposes his progressive deepening.  His music is the meeting point of his two influences: natural sounds and those other sounds generated by his creativity.

Salvo Pizzuto is a DJ producer born in the Italian peninsula, who has always had a passion for deeper electronic music. Clubbing and listening to his favorite DJs over time has shaped his tastes to where he currently is. Salvo started DJing around 2017 at various underground parties in his hometown and is one of the very few DJs in Sicily to promote deep / experimental techno. His inspirations come from the beautiful nature that surrounds him, from mysticism from the mysteries of lost civilizations. 
In this podcast he combines atmospheric and ambient sounds with a percursive and dark rhythm.

Lithuanian born, London based techno DJ, co-founder of Temple.Recordings and event series Temple.Invites. He also manages podcasts series called Temple.Prayer.
His love for electronic music began from a young age, but it wasn’t until he emigrated to the UK that he identified his true sound and style. Incorporating hypnotic, dark and melodic elements with experimental sounds, his unique style truly takes listeners on a mesmerizing journey. His hard work and dedication to the scene has led him to play across a range of clubs in London, as well as in Glasgow and Vilnius.

A letter from Odd Hills:
The lack of physical events across the past few years has led to increased focus on the Temple.Prayer podcast series, which features a broad spectrum of techno styles, allowing up and coming DJs a chance to showcase their work, alongside international heavy-hitters. I wanted to create something deep and dramatic, with the addition of some newly discovered loops and demos. However, the mood quickly changed which reflects a more energetic side of myself that I can blame on too much time spent in the studio with SNCTR 🙂 Enjoy!

Polygonia is a versatile art and music project based in Munich, Germany. Her Precending intensive and long practice playing several instruments as well as the experiences with other art forms, inspired the artist to translate her understanding of rhythm, composition and experimentalism into digital music language. She creates mystic, deep and experimental soundcapes with acoustic elements in it. The goal of her sets is to lead the listener through a colourful story, which includes a palette from bright moods with a lot of atmosphere and harmony into the polyrhythmic abyss of techno and dark ambient.

The last one of 2020

As we recall back over 2020, we try to recuperate from angst, agony, and chaos – all undoubtedly present. However, it is easy to take a step back and revisit this year's timeline as one story brimful of fearlessness, empathy, heroism, and accomplishment. Even if we have to work a bit harder to hold this story in our minds, it is every bit as true. 

This time of the year has always been demanding, at least for most of us. Wishing things to be something else rather than what they genuinely are can make us feel worse. Wanting or even expecting this season to suddenly bring an end to quarantine, insomniac nights, inequalities, social tensions, and natural disasters are far from a quick fix. Sadly, December doesn’t come with a magic wand to make things instantly and promptly better. Reality sits here and waits for us to notice it. Most importantly, it challenges us to work and act on it, even if we believe that no amount of misdirection or distraction can change that.

This year, we are delighted to end our audio diaries with a podcast recorded live in Poland by the 22-year-old Jan - a producer known more widely in the music environment, under the pseudonym Raroh. Based in Warsaw, @raaroh is a live performer, whose artistry is deeply rooted in ambient, trancey, and somewhat intensive techno. 

In 2018, he released his first 12" vinyl split record with Głós on Unknown Timeline Records entitled “The Perfect Moment In Time-Space Continuum”. He has notable contributions of dark ambient tracks on series like “One Instrument” and “The Book Of Electronic Music”, the latter being released on Delayed Arrivals Records. His first solo EP called “Across The Sea Of Light” was released on Unknown Timeline Records, while his newest track “Storming Near the Baltic” comes off the new V/A on Crescent London. Full of ambient textures, dub elements, drones, and groovy hypnosis, Raroh most certainly, displays a new view of contemporary electronic music.

We hope that our last 2020 audio diary is a flawless gift for everyone who has supported us along the way of this unprecedented roller-coaster ride. So, even if you are one of the many whose festive season doesn't feel right, even if you find yourself tired from travel bans, lockdowns, quarantine, and restrictions because these initially do not fit in the holiday season, can you allow yourself to accept how things currently are? How does this moment feel? Are you warm? Are you hungry or full? Do you miss someone? Does the floor support your feet? Can you feel them lifting you from the ground? 

We believe you will find the answers. After all, gratitude moves us towards acceptance of the present. 
We wish you safety, freedom from hostility, and above all surplus of health.
