We have a rhythm in dance, rhyme, my high pitched voice, that’ll always be my memory of having forbidden sex without a touch. It’s entirely based on that magical and euphoric energy, excitement and intimate ecstasy.

WIP. A song that is based on harsh facts. A truth that is too bitter to be palatable needs a little sugarcoating and scenery to be told and sung. Every story needs some kind of fantasy and imagery to be believed.

WIP. A Frenchman I met recently told me a story about his past as a parachute soldier in a past war. I wrote a poem for him, Un coeur parachutiste. It’s a very emotional poem for him that inspired me to write and sing this song for him and for myself. He complements me every day on my French accent, and he’s 40 years older, and loves the battle cry I’m trying to express in there, and a call to dare to jump towards your dream.
