Here is a Blind audio test. Nothing to get upset about just a fun test.
there will be a Beep in between each different synth so that you can easily tell where one starts and one stops. 
Make your guesses and I will announce what synth is what at the end of the week. Not every test has the same number of synths or same synths. this is a true blind shoot out so have fun... 
Some details about how the synths were recorded and final audio file.
each synth was recorded directly into an AudioFuse 8 pre interface via ADAT to Motu 828ES, no effects were used. the patches were kept very very basic as to prevent the vast differences of each synth from influencing. of course each synth handles envelope amounts , curves and timing slightly differently. I tried to match each close enough within reason for each patch each synth uses the same oscillator shapes and tunings (of course with slight variables ) all settings were matched as close as time would permit without going nuts about it. the final files were all within a about 2 db of each other per test, a Normalization was applied to each region to -1db to make them all level matched.

The title hints to Douglas Fairbanks movie from 1919 where a man battles fear, despair, inner demons in his pursuit of the unquenchable love he feels towards to woman of his life. In a similar orbit, we find the monolog monikers intention with this EP - mediating dark tales and a new array of nightmares put in audio with small rays of light coming through the heavy clouds. The listener is rolled by blistering fast drum and bass tracks and half step experiments, hitting you with such low end and detail you sense the motion blur and the vile soundscapes pierce your skin. Yet again Mads Lindgren aka Monolog steps up the level of production and achieves a new height of fidelity and a new level of grit and damage in the bass lines, carefully woven together with field recordings and textural layers of the world that surround us. The second oscillator can be a "waveguide" fed by the first oscillator and the noise. here it is working with pitched noise and braids "ring" the detuned sinesgive very nice variations.

note, the waveguide is somewhat hard to control still, that is why you occasionally hear distortions as it get out of hand.
