Here is the next song for our album, The Windmill of the Year. It celebrates Lughnasadh, a Celtic festival that takes place at the beginning of August which honours the sacrifice and death of Tailtui, mother of the Irish god, Lugh, and the last High Queen of the Fir Bolg. 

I find the music created for this by @APi_ZZ to be quite enchanting, nostalgic and towards the end, moving, as he once again reaches back to remind us of an age that Time forgot.

 Lugh, who fought off Balor’s blight
And famine from the scorching heat, 
Is leading you through the Lion’s Gate, 
Below, reapers of the harvest meet
For the festival and crowd the pews,
But they never knew you, Tailtiu. 

As the Sun begins its fall, to journey south 
We humbly offer these first fruits to you, 
O Great Mother, O Grain Mother, Tailtiu. 
As we stand here, we give honour to you 
And your self-sacrifice on the altar of Earth.
