Mindfuck’ is a personal and intimate yet lavish electronic pop track by Danish singer/producer Vibeke Falden. The narrative is built around bright and vulnerable vocals backed by subtle soundscapes. It’s almost naked in places and Vibeke’s sparse production choices make the listener a part of the intense battle going on inside her head. As she sings about fascination with a digital reality and how it can “fuck with our minds”.

Although drawing influences from artists such as Sophie, Arca and Kelela, Vibeke Falden doesn't imitate. Her tracks are exploratory and adventurous, yet very strong in melodies and hooks. Vibeke Falden is a versatile artist, multi-instrumentalist and live performer. She has supported Imogen Heap, performed at the Danish festival SPOT and Arctic Sounds in Greenland. She has played shows around Europe and Scandinavia, as well as U.S.A and Iceland.

Danish singer/producer Vibeke Falden is back with a bang(er)! With her new energetic release ‘Daydreaming Bliss’, she shows off a more uptempo and pop-esque side of her. The track - produced by her self - features hard hitting vocals wrapped in housy synths that will leave any 80’s nostalgic swept off their dancing feet.  

Vibeke Falden fantasizes about an unattainable lover as she sings “it’s just a daydreaming bliss, ‘cause I’ll never ever get to love you” - a feeling we all know too well when finding our selves dreaming about lost loves.

Her latest single “Mindfuck” was released independently in May 2019. It received some great buzz as it was featured on Apple Music’s ‘Best of the Week’ and Spotify's ‘New Indie and Alternative’ editorial playlists. The blog LeFutureWave said about the track “..a brilliant track, it has a sound you never ever heard before”. 

Vibeke Falden does indeed have a very unique sound that comes from her writing and producing everything her self. She has a love for gear and composes on a variety of electronic hard- and software, including the Elektron Octatrack and Ableton Live. Drawing inspiration from artists like Arca, Kelela and Hudson Mohawke, her tracks are exploratory and adventurous, yet have defined hook lines and catchy elements. 

The Aalborg-based artist is quite an experienced live performer and has opened for artists like Imogen Heap and most recently Lydmor. She performed at the Danish festival SPOT and Arctic Sounds in Greenland. In Greenland she discovered music that she’d never heard before, which led her to create the first ever album project and writing camp with artists from Greenland, Denmark and Faroe Islands in the fall of 2019. The project - called GFD Collective - will feature Vibeke as a producer and songwriter and ultimately lead to a tour of Greenland, Faroe Islands and Denmark in 2020. The future seems bright for the entrepreneurial multi-instrumentalist and composer.

Singer/producer and imaginative electronic pop artist, Vibeke Falden (DK) returns with vibrant new single: “Colorgraded”. A synth-wavey, dreamy track built up around a lead synth made of sampled printer sounds, filled to the brim with strong hooklines and warm vocal harmonies. Taking it back to the bright 80’s in sounddesign, Vibeke shows a contemporary edge in her songwriting and crispy beats. The track has a positive summer vibe, as it foreshadows a brighter future with sunset lit road trips and sand between the toes.

In 2019 Vibekes own record label, Wunderwelt Music, released “Mindfuck” and “Daydreaming Bliss”, which received great buzz with features on Apple Music’s ‘Best of the Week’ and Spotify's ‘New Indie and Alternative’ editorial playlists. The blog LeFutureWave said about Mindfuck “..the melodies have a quirky vibe that you will love instantly.. the tender vocals sound fantastic and the lyrics are great written!”

“Colorgraded” is written, produced and mixed by Vibeke Falden herself, with co-production from her band mate, Stig Hansen. Performing live the two have a sophisticated yet simple setup of synthesizers, controllers and vocal loopers, making Vibeke a very exciting live act to experience. She has opened for notable artists like Imogen Heap and Lydmor, performed live in DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation) and played at the prominent music industry festival SPOT (DK). In 2021, she will go on a tour in Greenland with the North Atlantic music collective GFD Collective, founded by herself in 2018. GFDs primary objective is to spread the inspiring music of artists from Greenland, Faroe Islands and Denmark and increase interest for North Atlantic culture through a new generation of musicians.
