Rolling and groovy basslines, sinister and hypnotic rhythms, minimalistic yet powerful percussions are the distinctive details in his sound. Effectively blending both old school and new, the aim is to keep the listener locked in the groove the whole time.

AKRØR PODCAST 017 - DERANGED

This bank holiday weekend we have a special mix from Mark Greene (@markgreenemusic), an electronic music producer and qualified sound engineer based in Ireland. After completing his training in the Sound Training Centre in Dublin under Will Kinsella (Hybrasil), Mark began signing some early tracks to various labels in Europe. Quite soon Mark was releasing tracks on well-established labels like Bush Records, Naked Lunch, Elektrax and Carl Cox' longstanding imprint Intec. A string of popular releases allowed Mark to play all over Europe with regular trips to Amsterdam in particular for the annual ADE each Autumn.

An avid drummer as a child, Mark has always had an affinity for heavy kickdrums in his tracks. As the years have gone by his productions have gained some bpms and Mark's music is now finding its way into the hands of DJs at the forefront of the industrial techno scene. Rebekah, I Hate Models, Theo Nasa, Chris Liebing, D.A.V.E. The Drummer and more are supporting his productions of late, particularly his recent tracks on his new label DORCHA Records - meaning 'dark' in the Irish language.

MASS Sessions #167 | Deranged

Deranged is a new and upcoming Lithuanian artist in the London scene. Over the past few years, he has been carefully studying his influences and crafting his style. Rolling and groovy basslines, sinister and hypnotic rhythms, minimalistic yet powerful percussions are the distinctive details in his sound. Effectively blending both old school and new, the aim is to keep the listener locked in the groove the whole time.
Frustrated with the lack of hypnotic and groovy music in London, he decided to launch his project @insignia.london. It is a new collective and event series, showcasing the best local talent in this specific genre of techno. Few first outdoor events have already seen massive success. You will see more of Deranged, as well as his event very soon.

Iveta Dimitrova, also known as Iveta Green is 23 years old from Dobrich, Bulgaria. Passionate about electronic music since she was 13 years old, she has gone through many substyles of techno. 
However, her favourite sound remains dynamic and rhythmic. Her first club appearance was in 2018 in Sofia. Apart from the capital, she is also remembered for her appearances in Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, etc. 
She has participated in parties of organizations such as KLTRAN, Each, Another Level, High Sounds, etc. In 2019 she takes part in Balkan Station festival, and in 2020 in AYMON festival, after that festivals definitely become her favorite field of performance. 
She has played on the same stage with names like Nico Moreno, Ness, Lucyd, Peppelino, Gaston Zani, Acid Flux, Vish Scale, Bretthit, Mr. Peppers, Yannick Tella, Ivan Shopov and more. 
Her dream and goal is to make music that makes people smile. :)
