Cornerstone

I was driving along thinking about my parents, and how it's impossible to replace the people that brought you up. Then I thought 'Oh crikey, I'm going to that for someone else! I'm going to be a Dad'. And then I thought, but I'm not just going to be any Dad, I'm going be The Dad. The singular Dad. I am Dad! 

It was a bit of an epiphany moment for me. I don't have many epiphanies so I thought I'd better make it into a song. 

I recorded the guitar and vocals for this song in a rather damp cellar, and mixed and mastered it myself using analogue equipment.

Very spontaneous multi-genre broadcast - starting off with dark beats & vocals, into lots of acieed, breaks, sample heavy old school jungle/DnB, abstract/quirky tunes and some punk rock to finish things up. Just another fun night in the void. Enjoy
