It’s time for the sixth edition of Mo:Dem Festival and in the year 2017. the biggest novelty is our new concept with three musical stages. Here we present you the sounds of The Hive. In the past editions this stage was called Main. We consider that today it's totally inappropriate to divide musical genres on 'main' and 'alternative'. However new name doesn't change the fact that The Hive is the nucleus of Mo:Dem Festival. The place where nature, art, creativity, technology and the spirits of the forest meet to create ultimate dance space. The Hive will host wide range of top quality underground psychedelic artists from around the world delivering some of the finest sounds of the past and present, and showcasing some of the new fresh and unheard sounds of the future. In this podcast we present you sounds of Sonic Loom Records featuring Antonymous, Tromo & Quadraphonic.

Responsible for this project is Flo from Munich, Germany. Back in the year 1993, he get in touch with electronic music for the first time. A few years later he began playing techno @ parties around Munich.
In 2006 he started producing his own music. After discovered psychedelic music in summer 2009 while visiting some festivals with friends who introduced him to the psychedelic culture, he experimented with this kind of sound and decided to focus completely on psychedelic music production.
His sound nowadays could be categorized as deep and atmospheric nighttime music, defined by deep basses, complex rhythms and abstract soundscapes.
He released tracks on labels like Deviant Force Records, Insomnia Records, Alice-D

Here’s the latest Parvati Records series episode with GU from Japan, who has just released his brand new free EP.

VGu, a.k.a Takumi Yamaguchi, is a psychedelic trance producer from Osaka, Japan.
In 2004 he wondered for the first time through the Indian sub-continent and stumbled into Goa completely unaware that he was about to have his life changed: In Goa he had his first encounter with Trance Music !

There, after enjoying and dancing at parties he decided to become a Dj and shorlty after, in 2006, felt the need to create his own original sound and so started to compose and work in studio.

Being heavily influenced by the sound of all psychedelic music in the world,
Gu sounds signatures are groovy bass lines and dark sounds and atmospheres.

Together with friend composer Digitalian he also creates music under the project name Backgammon.

GU has been performing extensively through Asia and Europe with a highlight at Boom Festival 2014 where is Live performance got a very positive feedback.

With Parvati Records since 2010, his music has also been released by other underground psy-trance Labels like Phreex Networx, Discovalley Records and Insomnia Records.

His first Digital EP will be released by Parvati Records in the autumn 2017.

I’m not a robot – I’m a nobot
Sometimes it’s quite funky to be a nobot. No robot no fun you’d say. But that’s only half the story. There’s a huge evergrowing pulsating brain that rules from the centre of the Ultraworld, directly connected to Nobots DAW – if USB is working. To ensure that noises beyond the major consensus narrative will be merged into relatively non-linear structures. And that’s where the fun starts.

In 2014 two guys wanted to get back to where they once belonged. There’s Oli/Brainshaker – party organizer and spinning the wheels of steel since decades – as well as Martin/Z-Neo ex Naked Tourist and producing various electronic music for a while.

During the journey to the other side they rediscovered their need for kinky dark psychotic structures and sounds. The Nobot PC home computer system was instantly surrounded by massive analogue madness, some black/white keys, knobs making strange noises, grumbling modular systems as well as some digital jukeboxes. Midi and CV/Gate are Nobots friends. Cybertechnologies like the world wide web are used as an infinite sample source. Whenever there is a dumb thoughtless sentence, Nobot switches into recording mode.

After 9 years it’s such a bliss to be back on the most lovely family label called Parvati-Records.

Bubbleguns is the psytrance project of Vinay from Kolkata, India. Bubblegun’s 10 year long career as a psytrance producer and DJ has taken him to various stages across the world from Europe to Japan to even the beautiful islands of Reunion, while his music has been released on prestigious record labels across the globe such as Pralayah records (India), Digital Shiva Power (Japan), Parvati records, (Denmark), Shunyata records (Ireland), Mighty Quinn records (Japan/USA), Mental Sauce records (Japan), LiquidFrequency (India), Omveda (India), Medulla Oblongata (Poland) and more. Lefteris Leontiadis (born March 5, 1988), known as Digital Abstract, is a Greek composer and producer of electronic music.
Lefteris, fascinated by his experiences in psychedelic events in Greece, began to mix psytrance and other sounds from the psychedelic scene, at private parties and small clubs. Thrilled beyond obvious by the power of electronic music, he soon started the effort of creating his own tracks. So in 2009 he began producing with a computer and a keyboard, starting to gain a taste for computerized production.
He first experimented with electronic genres like breakbeat, progressive and full on trance, before turning to the more dark path of the psytrance sounds, giving birth to his self-titled project Digital Abstract.
Dark, experimental and psychedelic, are all words that are used to describe Digital Abstractís music and each is more than justified.
Digital Abstract develops gradually and cultivates a sound thatís strictly psychedelic; a sound thatís mysterious, deep and powerful, with abstract production techniques, that are visual imagery structured.
Digital Abstract is noted for his constant search and experiments with unusual methodology in sound design, and manipulation with unparalleled technical skills.
After his first forays into the psychedelic scene, Lefteris decided to set up his first EP, working from his studio in his hometown of Thessaloniki. No matter what, Lefterisí vision is clear, always ready to produce, pushing an uncompromisingly original, sensational and deep futuristic sound.
