Hypnotique Radio 014 features an exclusive DJ set from forest maestro Mark Day!

Born in London, Mark Day was surrounded by music growing up, either playing on the radio which was always on or listening to the soundtracks of video games.
During his teenage years he discovered a whole new world of electronic music, starting with trance and delving into many of the subgenres; he was in love.
After some years of searching the internet he came across the term 'psychedelic music' - the name intergued him so he decided to dig deeper which culminated in him finding an underground psytrance party in London by luck in late 2007.
After a year of going to parties he started to DJ at them and a couple more years later he started to produce his own music.
His psytrance music can be characterized by having a lot of sounds with layers of atmospheres over the top, always driving and with some psychedelic wizardry inside.
Having been lucky enough to have played his music around the world and continuing to do so, he is currently working on his debut album which will be released 'at the right moment'

He is also a listener, collector and occasional producer of downtempo music and has done various mixes throughout the years which have been mainly distributed to close friends.

Treetrolla's Treetrospective episode 2 is here by DJ VASKA. DJ Vaska aka Vasyl Sagaidak got onboard the psychedelic starship in 2001 in Odessa, Ukraine. He started Treetrolla Records in 2008. His studio experiments include Skogarna and LoOkOmOria forest psychedelic projects. In Treetrolla's words about this edition: "Greetings to Ozora! We are happy to represent our music with radiOzora and share it with you, its awesome audience! Our sonic journey is happening since the first release in 2009 and is oriented towards the forest psytrance genre. This dj-set will consist of music represented among our record label's releases through the years, but still in the end we are cooking some cute sonic sweets from the future ones! Main idea is to introduce listeners to our music and broadcast something worthwhile and positive to the environment, despite all of our known circumstances around Ukraine. Stand with Ukraine! The Samauma is a thousand-year-old tree from the Amazon Rainforest region, affectionately called Mother and revered by various native tribes in the region. It is called that way because, when it reaches maturity, it acquires an imposing height that allows it to see and embrace the entire forest from above. Beautiful, majestic, and essential to the natural cycle, it is a sacred plant and important for the entire human population.

With that in mind, Stereophonic brings us a release of similar greatness: the V/A Samauma. A compilation of carefully selected tracks that represent a part of Resina Records' sound. In its curation, Stereophonic sought renowned artists in the national scene to develop a sonic progression through 11 tracks that promise to satisfy all tastes.

The V/A Samauma also seeks to raise awareness about the progressive destruction of the Amazonian landscape that has spread in recent years, threatening global biodiversity and our natural riches, so important for the inspiration and experience of artists and people who live for music.

Here we go. The fauna is whispering again. In fact, she never stopped. Returning from their long journeys into uncharted territories, our travellers captured the weirdest and strangest creatures from the undergrowth. They listened for the essence of their voices, had to go through a lengthy process of examination of their behavior, telegraphing their language and deciphering their encrypted communication to unveil their lost knowledge. They speak of many secrets, some are of the forest, some of the smell of night, some of glittering snowy plains, some of ancient arcane knowledge and some twisting the very fabric of our understanding of the world. Once you taste these sounds, they will haunt you. Once you're in, it's too late to escape the grasp of this mysterious sonic language. Listen and you will know what is meant by this.
