DJ Nelson is known by many as a selector who constantly surprises his audiences with a flux of body moving music, playing everything from Acid House, to Techno and Trance.
 
He has played at some of the most reputable venues in Melbourne including Revolver Upstairs, Danse and New Guernica to name a few.

Vibrance Radio // DJ Nelson

This month on Vibrance Radio, we welcome local groove selector Hauswife. Hauswife is a Berlin-born, Naarm (Melbourne) based musician, producer and DJ. She is known by many to play a large variety of genres that lie within the house umbrella, ebbing and flowing between sultry lo-fi grooves, breakbeat rhythms, punchy grooves and basslines.

Hauswife is rapidly building a strong resume with bookings at Xe54, New Guernica, Music Room and even recently making her debut at Electric for Novel’s weekly Sunday event 'Goodroom'. You may have also seen her livestream for The Sound Gallery which has stacked up almost 10,000 plays on Youtube.

With over three years of experience behind the decks and one year spent studying music production, Kyle Donohue is becoming a household name in Naarm’s thriving electronic music scene!

Seen mostly for his residency at Xe54, Kyle has also played regular sets at Electric, Glamorama and New Guernica. At these venues he has supported music staples such as Rebuke, Sally C, Tred and Tinlicker. Becoming a regular name on Naarm line-ups also led to Kyle making his festival debut in Schmall Klüb at Beyond The Valley 2022. 

Kyle’s DJ sets and productions are deeply inspired by his appreciation for the sounds of the ‘90s to 2000s era of UKG and Speed Garage. His unique sound being evident in this episode of Vibrance Radio! 

Starting off at 130bpm and finishing at 150bpm, this mix will take you on a journey through some of the best tracks Kyle has to offer!

We are excited to welcome one of the fastest rising Naarm-based artists to the Vibrance Radio series this evening! Ned Bennett curates high energy sets that explore a variety of dance music genres to create a constantly refreshing style that never feels repetitive.

Ned’s unique style has captured the attention of promoters around Melbourne, leading to highlight sets at Xe54 and The Gasometer. His hard groove, garage and house productions have accumulated thousands of plays on streaming platforms, finding their way onto USBs that belong to Skin on Skin, Sam Alfred and many other DJs worldwide. 

His mix explores the heavier sides of hardgroove and hypnotic techno that he’s been rinsing in his recent sets. With unreleased tracks from Ned and some of his talented producer friends, this is not an episode that you want to miss.
