Like come on, have you heard these things? Darren After from the UK coming in hot with a High Octane nuke, 'Underground'! Oni with his forward thinking, genre bending soundscapes on 'Warning Sign'. Galo laying down the rave energy with 'Control'. And our boy Hakala with one of the smoothest tracks to date, 'Rollies'!

Vibrancy presents: VOLTAGE CONTROL, the first single off Eleganto's debut EP Frightening Beasts! 

So back in the fall this new guy, Eleganto, sent us a tune that literally had our jaws "On The Floor"... we were absolutely blown away and immediately had to sign it. It became the lead single on our latest Exhibits Vol. 1 compilation and was easily the crowd favourite. Gaining support from AC Slater, Moksi, Dr. Fresch, Lowdown, Slatin and so many more!

Well honestly, we had no clue how the dude could top it... until he sent a playlist with a pile of tunes, each better than the last. I shit you not. I have not been this excited about a new artist... maybe ever. The music is raw, creative, extremely polished and that of a seasoned veteran. This guy is about to embark on an incredible journey as I know these records will solidify his name in this new wave of modern house music!

Every once in awhile you stumble on those artists that have you say “Hot damn, they got it figured out, dialled in and they are ready to take on the world”. CASHEW is 100% one of those artists.  

The dude has the biggest drums, massive basslines and a sound that weaves classic house sound design with modern bass house flair. The contrast of the crispy crunchy leads with that deep taped up bass tone just make them speakers go brrrrrrrrrr.  

His tracks are slammed to the max. Just how we like em. There's no bullshit here. No messin around. Just pure big boomin tunes that will leave ya in a pool of sweat.   After a few conversations back in January, we knew we had to get this wild Croatian on the label. We couldn’t be happier with the result.  

We also couldn’t be happier with our visual artists for the release, The Six of Cups. The Austin based duo of jewellers are known for bright and wild pieces that pop! We were blown away when they called us to let us know they made a very special ‘Vibrancy Stone’ which we’ve used for CASHEW’s EP artwork.

Exhibits Vol. 3 is here to kick off the summer with a punch. Couldn’t be more proud of all these artists for delivering quite literally some of our favorite music ever.   

Kicking things off is ‘Need Your Love’, a long awaited ID from South Korean producer Blosso’s new tech house project, DEMIXL. This one has been a staple in Vibrancy sets since we first heard it months back.

The action keeps going with a crazy collab between Cloverdale & his Russian twin, Slatin. A bass driven banger from Italian duo, AGLF. A big high octane techy driver from Luxo. A dark and groovy number from South Africans Bass Odyssey & Luke Lambert. And capping it off with a track from two of Western Canada’s most notorious groove dealers, Reezy & LNDN.  

We’ve paired with multimedia artist, projection specialist and stage designer, WASKO for this release. He’s responsible for some of Eastern Canada's most impressive live set ups and a proud member of the Electronic Music community in the area.

Here at Vibrancy we've been holding off releasing singles...

We've been growing our family by focusing on our Exhibits compilations and our Artist EPs... That is until we heard this monster of a track from our man Eleganto and newcomer, Lender!

THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH OF HIGH ENERGY HOUSE MUSIC

“Talkin” is a first of its kind label collaboration brought forth by Cloverdale and DJ Susan; the label heads of Canada’s “Vibrancy” and California’s “Hood Politics Records”.

United through good vibes and a hankering for high energy house music, the two found themselves working together on a weapon of a track earlier this year, inspired by the forward thinking sounds of their respective labels. The result is exactly what you would expect from a collab of this caliber. A straight to the point, main stage peak hour anthem created for those “holy shit” moments on the dance floor. Combining the sounds of tech house, bass and garage elements, the two whipped up a real crowd pleaser that is destined to make some huge waves on the circuit this year.

Both having wildly successful years of multiple chart topping singles and number ones both on and off their labels, with releases on Repopulate Mars, Confession, Insomniac, Night Service Only, Techne, Sink or Swim, Spinning Records and more - these boys are carving out a name for themselves as mainstays in the scene.

  The two rising producers have confidently formed an alliance to bring you a first of its kind label collaboration. Vibrancy and Hood Politics both preach the same values and love for the art of house music. Two high energy labels bringing some of the freshest tracks around. It was a match made in high octane heaven.

In 2022 Vibrancy is focusing even further on collaboration and building community with a unique new label concept - Resident Producers. For the next few months we’ve assembled a gang of some of the most promising acts in the scene right now to be our Resident artists. These artists will release multiple tracks on the label, they will remix each other, they will collab together and they will take over Vibrancy for their "Residency". These three acts all debuted last year with some of the best and most forward thinking High Octane Tech House music we’ve heard, and we are stoked to see what they produce during their Residency.

Vibrancy has paired these amazing musicians with Vancouver based Digital CRT artist, Space Fungus to really create a full audio visual experience. His art, both graphic designs and video work is the perfect blend of modern and vintage techniques that screams one thing - RAVE. It’s like VHS tapes from the future… on acid.

Kicking things off we have a 3 track compilation on Feb 11th followed by the gang all remixing each other the following week on Feb 18th!

And daaaaaaaaamn these 6 tracks are some of the best we’ve ever released.

Get ready because Vibrancy is stepping things into overdrive this year.

Vibrancy is fired up to be bringing South African producers, Bass Odyssey back to the label with their stunning track 'Align' featuring an incredible vocal performance by Lex LaFoy. This track is dirty, it's hype, it's full of low end madness sure to make the dance floor flip.

Align has all the elements, not only of a quality club banger, but of a well written hit song. Lex LaFoy's performance sets the tone for one of the boys' hypest... yet also darkest tracks yet.

This set was beyond special for me, Im so glad we can relive it here. I can't say thank you enough to everyone who came out early and threw down all weekend long! We'll all remember this weekend forever.

Getting to host our own festival in my hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia right downtown at City Hall was something I would've never dreamed of years ago. Halifax doesn't get many touring artists, let alone their own festival - so to have Green Velvet, J. Worra, Ranger Trucco, DJ Susan & more was monumental. This entire event wouldn't have been possible without the City of Halifax and the team with the Grand Oasis. Having their blessing to trust us and let us throw the sickest dance party the city has ever seen was unheard of. Thank you!
