Highlights the 105m, the drone loop the track is built over is processed with a percussive setting, and the only overdub is another percussive voice, in this case a looping preset on the Sub Phatty (bank 1, preset 2) feeding the sync on the 107 which in turn is run through the 105m to create hand drum-like patterns, which were sped up & down to follow the motion of the piece. The drum feel is augmented by feeding that signal through 108m to accent different resonances of the tone. Slow animation of the 105m across the main track (with mix & envelope around 7 & rate at 2) creates a subtly shifting stereo signal from the Sub Phatty's mono output.

In this short improvisation, Detroit-based electronic artist, Erika, composes a celestial passage using a pair of Mother-32 analog synthesizers. An external reverb unit is used to add an astral quality to the patch.

Moog Music announces the release of “Music For Intention & Growth: A Purpose-Driven Sound Series”, in collaboration with Twin Spring Tapes and Ace Hotel.  Produced exclusively for the compact cassette, the series features electronic compositions from sound-artists on Twin Springs Tapes, a cassette-only recording label delivering “stimulating sounds to aide in your experience of being.”  

Available free at select record stores* on Record Store Day [April, 16 2016], “Music For Intention & Growth: A Purpose-Driven Sound Series” highlights the organic nature of analog sound, pairing the output of Moog’s handcrafted electronics with the unmistakable warmth of magnetic tape.  The series consists of 3 individually distributed tapes featuring auditory explorations of the newly released Moog Mother-32 Analog Synthesizer as conducted by Inner Travels, Kyle Landstra and TALsounds.  

Listening Environments
Played through vintage cassette decks, Ace Hotel will host listening sessions in 8 of their locations on Record Store Day (Ace DTLA, Ace Palm Springs, Ace Seattle, Ace Portland, Ace New York, Ace London, Ace Pittsburgh, Ace NOLA).

BlackBook will exclusively premiere a digital stream of Side A from each cassette.

Moog Music will include cassettes in Moog Mother-32 synthesizer boxes while supplies last.
