Some of the most outstanding contributions on Mungo’s Hi Fi multi-artist projects have come from Ipswich lyricist YT. So it was only a matter of time before they collaborated on a full album together. 
The theme is real, undiluted reggae music. YT and Mungo's share a passion for the often overlooked 80's rub-a-dub and early dancehall sound. The stripped down riddim tracks allow YT's strong, melodic delivery and intelligent lyrics to take centre stage. 
YT doesn’t flinch from life’s harsh realities and tough questions. Yet he is also sufficiently well-grounded to breathe new fire into staple topics like sound clash and ghetto romance. 
He spars with two of the greatest dancehall singers, in Johnny Osbourne and Little John, over music laid with the help of Prince Fatty to add that analogue rub-a-dub flavour. The result is an album that salutes the foundation and its continued relevance in modern dances today.

Smooth, soulful, legendary reggae artist Beres Hammond is back with new single “I’m Alive”, out this Friday May 18th. After a lengthy hiatus, the new single has all the elements of a classic Beres production with smooth harmonies, jazzy instrumentation and poignant lyrics. With his recordings and ongoing tour schedule in 2018, Beres' star is shining brightly and the vibe in his music is never ending.

“I’m Alive will be the first single release off his upcoming album out this summer. To support the new project, Hammond will be embarking on a 25 stop US tour, including stops at popular festivals; Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, Belly Up and Hollywood Bowl. Other stops include Santa Cruz, Tucson, Orlando, Atlanta, Washington DC, Brooklyn, Newark, Boston and more. See dates below.

Helping form the foundation for his mellow, bluesy delivery, Beres grew up listening to American soul and pop music from Stax, Motown and other vintage sounds. Fast forward to now, his own influence on others is witnessed from a diverse list of singers : including Shaggy, Romain Virgo, Christopher Martin, Rihanna and much more.

Bringing a positive message in these times, when the world needs it most! The riddim was created in the Vibration Lab studio in rural Devon, The vocals were recorded in a legendary session at Manasseh's studio in West London.  MC Brother Culture wrote the hook for this song and orchestrated the vocal arrangements in the session as captain of the Digital Messiahs! The track was then mastered at Abby Road. Vibration Lab is a production/dj duo/record label and events group based in London who create and promote: Future Digital Reggae. Vibration Lab works often as a DJ for thelegendary and  internationally known artist MC Brother Culture. Vibration Lab have recorded and remixed Reggae greats like: Linval Thompson, Rod Taylor, Wayne Jarrett. Vibration Lab have been associated with Dubby "Reggae influenced" Bass music but they have recently done two remixes pressed to vinyl:  Blend Mishkin & Roots Evolution Feat. Skarra Mucci & Mandinka Warrior ?– Original (Vibration Lab Remix) on Nice-Up Records NPU028 7" and Sound Transmission Records-12"-Empress / Solo Banton Feat. Sabrina Bell + Gallang / Parly B - Vibration Lab Remix) which signal a shift to a more "Digital" Reggae sound. 

For their next project they have assembled a "super group" formed out of the "live" sessions on the Reggae Roast Soundsystem. At these dances the pair would select in a throw-back 80's style,in the fashion of "old-school"sounds like Youth Promotion in Jamaica, with teams of singers and mc's. Along with help of Reggae soundsystem veterans: Brother Culture, Colourman, Donovan Kingjay and Dark Angel the pair went into the studio to re-create the energy and excitement of these dances and thus: Vibration Lab & The Digital Messiahs was born. The first single from this project will come out on the Vibration Lab label and is called: (Digital Messiahs Theme) feat:Brother Culture, Colourman, Donovan Kingjay and Dark Angel. A full album of the project will be released this year!

Vibration Lab is also working with up and coming MC/Singer Natty Campbell on some new material to come out on the Vibration LabLabel, first release is called: Tell It To Dem on the Utica Riddim, which will be ot soon!
