We welcome Molac on board 90watts for the very first time. His label debut is titled 'As Above, So Below', a wonderful piece of melodic organic house music. Super groovy and incredibly infectious. Another great release by the artist known for his output on labels such as Watergate Records, Songuara and Amulanga to name a few.

On remix duties Dulus makes his return on the label a couple of months after the release of his 'Mostly Sunny' single which is undoubtedly amongst the most populair songs released on 90watts in the past year. His super funky bassline sets the tone and pushes 'As Above, So Below' to another level. Top class stuff!

Nikko.Z's Dopamine White wraps up a strong spring season by welcoming Jadon Fonka to the label for his debut EP. Sri Lankan artist Anupa Fonseka aka Jadon Fonka released his first project in 2017, and over the course of the last seven years has followed a seldom travelled path. Rather than focus on one distinctive style, Jadon has released EDM, Electro House, House, Progressive House and more. A project via Hardwell's Revealed Recordings in 2019 has been a discography highlight, earning the support of EDM tastemakers such as Timmy Trumpet, Mike Williams, Lumberjack and many more. 2023 would see Jadon put a firmer focus on progressive house however, becoming one of the genre's more prolific newcomers and in turn recording projects for 3rd Avenue, BCSA, Droid9 and SLC-6 Music, amongst others. Now following a well-received debut for Balkan Connection, Jadon adds Dopamine White to his resume with 'Former Times / Perfect Crime'. Beginning with 'Former Times', Jadon continues his club-effective progressive style. Full of charged energies, the Colombo resident expertly blends punchy kick drums and electric grooves with crunchy rhythms and astral sonics. Granular effects, deconstructed vocals and hopefully melodies steal the air, furthering the first movement leading into the break. A thought-provoking vocal sample takes centrestage here, bringing with it moments of anticipation and intrigue, before swirling atmospheres melt down amidst a bed of clustered drums and rumbling sonics, perfectly setting the stage for a drop of main room alchemy. The companion piece 'Perfect Crime' finds Jadon flexing a groovier side of his repertoire. Powerful beats and chunky basslines serve as the anchor for cross-cultural motifs, muted bass stabs and a strong effects narrative to intertwine for a smooth yet uplifting first act. The breakdown delivers a strong dose of controlled chaos, as orbiting effects, waves of noise and an ominous vocal sample unite, before a rush of drums and gritty textures cues an epic finale to round out the EP on a large note.

Rounding out a strong winter season, Roger Martinez's Higher States welcomes Amhain to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Ireland but now calling Australia home, Alan Thomas Doyle aka Amhain has achieved measurable success across his career. An enthusiastic attitude towards experimentation, coupled with extraordinary creative vision has made the Sydney resident one of his country’s noteworthy talents in progressive house. Releases via Balance Music, Mango Alley, Meanwhile, Proton Music and Vapour Recordings, amongst others; sit as discography highlights, while genre tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren have been supporters along the way. Also an accomplished DJ, Amhain has been a fixture of Australia’s burgeoning nightlife for the better part of a decade, performing at renowned festivals Rainbow Serpent and Subsonic, while also showcasing his skills abroad at American events such as Burning Man and Lightning in a Bottle. With 2025 already yielding an impressive vehicle for Musique de Lune, Amhain continues on an upwards trajectory, making his Higher States debut with ‘Dream One’. 

From the opening monochromes of ‘Dream One’, Amhain’s craftsmanship reveals itself across the slow-burning piece, making for an unforgettable journey. Wistful toplines, chunky grooves, and nostalgic vocal elements unite in cosmic fashion, the latter of which tastefully recalls Quivver’s infamous Space Maneuveres project. Sitting at the heart of the piece lies a cavernous break, where orbiting effects and subterranean swells become instantly seductive, creating a vast sense of space, before effortlessly shifting energy into a finale of utopian-style ecstasy. 

The collection’s midway point is marked by the hypno-architecture of ‘Unencumbered’. Trickling reverberations and gentle strokes of tonal tension wade through its pulsating framework, with frayed effects and reverberated rhythms submerged beneath a buzzing panoramic glow. A strong sense of cruising carries momentum into a break of retro-radiance, perfectly setting up a meditative conclusion. 

Rounding out the release are the bucolic sounds of ‘A Drop In The Ocean of Time’. Pitched somewhere comfortably between dreamy reverie and symphonic bliss, Amhain crafts a trek across mossy plains and frost-filled sighs, offering listeners an immersive journey into the uncharted realms of musical expression.

Bursting onto the Progressive House scene in mid-2020, Fausto Javier Loza has carved out quite a name for himself with his FJL production moniker. Since a debut on Balkan United, the Argentinean producer has found his music allied to such esteemed imprints as sister Madlochs Sound Avenue and 3rd Avenue, Roger Martinezs HIGHER STATES and Mangos all-conquering Mango Alley. Now the Rosario resident from the province of Sante Fe, debuts on Proportion with a 3-track EP of the highest order as FJL presents his Alter Ego / Losstower / Rare Wizards EP. With a deep, fizzing bassline narrative running throughout the triptych, Alter Ego is a chunky rhythmic powerhouse that sees a chest-thumping kick paired with a deliciously grooved bass pattern creating a sublime rolling pattern. A kaleidoscopic array of effects and risers are scattered across the 6-minute piece as a delicate arpeggiated melody gradually evolves from the low-end foundation. Roku opens the spring season by welcoming @cendrymamusic to the label for his debut EP. American producer Daniel Sampson aka Cendryma has carved out a less than conventional path on this way to being one of his country’s rising talents. From his early beginnings as trance producer under the Tecnosine and Sam Cydan monikers, the Oregon resident eventually grew tired of the genre’s constraints. Some downtime during the global pandemic gave Daniel time to pursue other creative avenues, eventually landing on progressive house and his current alias Cendryma, a project which he states ‘truly embodies my evolving sound and creative vision.’ Now, just over a year into his journey as Cendryma, Daniel has made measurable strides, compiling well-received projects for Deep Down Music, Pattern, PURRFECTION, UV and his own Cydana Sounds imprint.
