The song talks about how society has gone cold by the way we as individuals have become more inhumane and less considerate to each other. With each new year it seems as if there are less people lending a hand and looking out for each other, and more  insensible and uncaring individuals. Society is breaking itself apart. As if we built a city to watch it waste and crumble down. 

COLD

Beautiful talks about not physical or inner beauty, but about the fact that our flaws, weaknesses, and constant search for self-achievement is what makes us human and that is a beautiful thing. No matter the regrets we have from our past or the selfish acts we sometimes do in order to lookout for our best interests, we all have the right for self-enlightenment as human-beings. It doesn't talk about stepping over people in order to get ahead, but of accepting ones mistakes and getting over self-disgust or distaste, in order to move onward in life with a head held high, because, as I said before, we are all human with our own flaws and weaknesses and that is a beautiful fact.

We chose the song, Trust, as our first single and made it into our first music video, directed by friend, Lucas Pitassi and filmed in Los Angeles, California, so check out the youtube link. In the video, Antonio, vocalist and founder of the band, portrays a boyfriend who is caught cheating by his girlfriend, which inevitably causes the relationship to fall apart, but in reality the song has nothing to do with infidelities. Trust can be applied to any situation where you keep committing an error with a loved one, be it your lover, family member or friend, to the point where apologizing isn't sufficient and now you are at a loss for words and actions, and don't know how to repent for what you have done wrong countless times. The video presents an infidelity because it seemed like an easy way to relate the song to the audience.  

Trust

The song, ...the truth in who we are, talks a bit about existentialism and our purpose in life. At it's core, it talks about how everyone is free to live out there cause, and that to achieve that cause and purpose one has to act upon desires and aspiration. As individuals we are free to live as we choose and be who we want to be, but it will take drive and determination to achieve your goals. In the end, your effort will be worth the struggle.

Clean and sane talks about the importance of asking for help when overcoming drug addiction. Inspired from a friend's experience using and eventually rehabilitating.

During a time in our lives when tensions all over the world are rising, while people inevitably go through their own dilemmas, there is always an outlet and opportunity for enlightenment. For that very reason, the alternative Indie pop rock band, VICDIAN, through their music hopes to console, enlighten, and bring hope and awareness to people from all parts of the world. Moving onward, the group has been active since 2009. Antonio E. Cortés, composer, singer, songwriter, guitarist, and founder of the band with his friend and ex-drummer, Raymond Maldonado, developed the first 11 songs, which later became the band’s first independent album, "... the truth in who we are", which was produced in the summer of 2010. Furthermore, in December of the same year the band filmed their first music video for their song, Trust, in Los Angeles, California, which was directed by Lucas Pitassi. Today new members have joined the group. This includes Jean C. Galdón on the guitar and Harry W. Rivera on the drums. Currently, the band is playing in Puerto Rico and working on a new album and several video projects, while looking for other ways to promote their music worldwide.
