"Rauhnacht" / "zwischen den Jahren" is a German idiom, that refers to the days/nights between the xmas holidays and New Years Eve: Days to get lost, reload or refresh on your own ("die innere Einkehr"); to say hello to old friends you didn't see for a while and to say good bye to the winter time, wishful thinking for the next year, the next summer. 
This recording was part of a gig at  "Dornheim" in the night of the 26th of December 2019.
Sometimes I wish I could be there again, listening to this music, creating harmless dreams of seasons to come.....with all this lovely people in the room... and Jake the Rapper is playing upstairs.

For the last quarantine stream edition of Dornheim's Wohnzimmer-Radio I played some music in reference to my first dance floor experiences in Würzburg. We were nearly every weekend in the AKW (Autonome-Kultur-Werkstatt) to join concerts or to dance to Indietronic, Drum & Bass and other electronic Music. Shout-outs to the Konzentriert-Tanzen-Crew, Heimspiel, Südpol, Colors-Of-Soul, Toby K. aka Tobiwan and all my friends who filled the floor with us. This place doesn't exist anymore. Its a fancy office now. I saw there some of my favorite bands for the first time. Life and Citys always change. Please make sure, there will still be places for ambitious, crazy people, for outlaws, for screaming, laughing loud, meeting strangers, getting wasted. Support your local Schmerz - Support your local bars, dance clubs, concert halls etc...
