Hailing from Lewisham, UK, Vicky Gold is the girl with the golden voice. With an outré sense of style she's been playing live for the last year around London's warehouse galleries and at various festivals and pop-up gigs.

A performer who teases, shocks and charms her audience, Vicky has blown crowds away everywhere she has played. It was whilst studying at art college that The Guardian interviewed Vicky about her music in a feature.  Soon after she achieved tabloid notoriety for her videos when her college banned her end of year show. It was the first to be censored in 14 years. As a result Vicky turned her hand to making her music videos, several of which went viral on You Tube.

As a songwriter, Vicky Gold takes inspiration from genres as diverse as glam-rock, soul and R&amp;B and refigures them in her own image. A cross between Madonna and Freddie Mercury, Vicky Gold is drawing support from across the board and this year will see her career taking off.
