My entry for Erb n Dub's 'Loud Mouth' Remix Competition. I thoroughly enjoyed reworking the original track, which itself, is already an absolute beast of a tune! 

I used the rave stab samples of the original track as inspiration for the main lead in my remix - I built on this by using early 90s hardcore choir stabs to give it some darkside slap akin to Hammer by Enei or Defcon 69 by Total Science. I then took the early 90s theme further by creating my own melodic piano compositions to add segments of light/soul, as well as dropping in some crisp amens and subs for that '93 hardcore jungle vibe. I didn't want to deviate from the original drums too much, as I felt they fit my remix perfectly in certain sections.

We are excited to announce the release of "K Hole," the latest single from talented drum and bass artist Danny Jenk.
This captivating track is a masterclass in atmospheric drum and bass, with Jenk's intricate beats and haunting melodies creating a mesmerizing sonic landscape.

The title of the track, "K Hole," is a reference to the dissociative state induced by the drug ketamine, 
and Jenk uses this as a metaphor for the hypnotic journey that the listener is taken on. From the opening bars of the track, the listener is immersed in a world of swirling synths and pulsing bass, with intricate percussion and haunting vocal samples adding to the sense of otherworldly intensity.

Jenk's production skills are on full display in "K Hole," with every element of the track carefully crafted to create a cohesive and immersive sonic experience. 
Fans of drum and bass and electronic music in general are sure to find something to love in this captivating and complex new release.

"K Hole" is available from 13th march on all major streaming platforms, 
and we can't wait for fans to experience the energy and intensity of Danny Jenk's latest masterpiece for themselves.

VEB is a Finnish/English Ableton live music producer, creating and inspiring sounds from music genres all across the globe, inspired by the house music of the nineties, focusing primarily on her love for drum and bass, with a twist of the original euphoric trance of the earlier years, along with progressive house flavors, her finished remixes adds vibrancy, dynamics, yet full of character. VEB also adds her own unique vocals to create atmosphere and energy to the finished composition.
