"Need To Feel Loved" by Reflekt has long been one of my favourite vocal trance tracks. A short while ago I had an idea to add a little acid to it and to give it a little more kick for use in some of my warm up and classics sets in Ibiza. The result was this rework.

I had hoped for an official release but it was not to be. So this being the first day of a brand new year and with the world very much "Needing to Feel Loved" I thought what better day to share and to say thankyou for all of your love and support till now. I hope you also love this as much as I did making it. Of course all credit must go to the original artists Reflekt and the sublime vocals of Delline Bass - I still get goosebumps every single time I hear those chords coming in. A couple of months back I streamed a mix live as part of the Slip Back Online Festival and in honour of all the old school trance fans who unfortunately couldn't this year travel to Ibiza for the Old School Ibiza week. I'm now uploading the audio so that you can listen back and hopefully enjoy once again some of those tunes and look forward to seeing the crew back on the island in 2021

Slip Back Online Ibiza Trance Anthems

Vicky Devine was one of the first female trance DJs to break out of the UK. Taking herself to Ibiza in 2000, she went forward to create a successful career which included becoming the main room resident at Judge Jules's infamous Judgement Sundays events where she remained for over ten years. Touring the world several times over and releasing music on high profile labels including Spinnin, Black Hole and Recoverworld, she launched her own record label (DE:VA Recordings), presented her "DE:VA" Radio Show for many years on Afterhours FM, was integral in launching, supporting and running events for other artists in Ibiza and around the world, and eventually achieved several of her own musical dreams such as playing ASOT in Den Bosch, performing live at BBC Radio One in Ibiza and DJing to over 35,000 people at Indiafest in Goa. For the last few years Vicky has held a residency at Ibiza’s much loved classics night “One More Time” joining an array of musical legends and which has seen her return to the Eden main stage during the summer months. Recently signing with respected booking agency “Made Artists” and releasing new music as well as juggling all this with an A&R, Licensing and Artist Management position now at Truelove Music Publishing, Vicky's hard work is testament to her love of all things music and one of the reasons she continues to be at the forefront in todays dance music scene.
