«What If There Is No Way Out», das bisher erfolgreichste Album der Luzerner Band Visions In Clouds, inspirierte sieben Künstler*innen dazu, eigene Versionen von Songs der Indie-Wave-Band zu produzieren. Die involvierten Kollaborationen reichen aus der Schweizer Popszene bis nach Berlin. Mit Pop-Shooting-Star Crimer, m4music-Demotape-Gewinnerin La Colère oder Elektro-Überflieger Pablo Nouvelle findet sich die höchste Garde der Schweizer Musikwelt auf der «Remixes»-EP. Mit Wassily, Sänger und Gitarrist von Dachs, der momentan wohl interessantesten Band der Schweiz, konnte ein besonders aufregender Elektro-Produzent für das Projekt gewonnen werden. Dazu übertragen die beiden Luzerner*innen Belia Winnewisser und Leonardo DiApéro ihre ganz eigenen künstlerischen Perspektiven auf die Songs der Indie-Wave-Band. Und schliesslich bietet «Remixes» zwei Tracks der Berliner Band EAWY: Neben dem düster-elektronischen Remix von «Out Here on My Own» hat sich die Band daran gemacht, den Song «Rage in Silence» aus der 2017 erschienen EP «Levée En Masse» komplett neu einzuspielen.
