Here’s the skinny. I’m 46. I fell in love with rock ‘n’ roll in 1976 when my cousin put headphones on my ears and played Flaming Youth by KISS. The love deepened when my best friend in high school turned me on to punk, post-punk and all that good 80’s underground stuff by bands like Sonic Youth, Redd Kross, Meat Puppets and Hüsker Dü.

I started playing drums when I was 8 or 9. I switched to guitar at 13 and have been playing it since. I started writing songs some time in my late teens. The songs just keep coming – a few with lyrics. Music is what keeps me going. I honestly don’t know what my life would be without it.

So, I will continue playing and writing music. At the very least, I plan to share this music with anyone I can.
