Not Christian or Jew or Muslim, not Hindu,

Buddhist, sufi, or zen. Not any religion

or cultural system. I am not from the East

or the West, not out of the ocean or up

from the ground, not natural or ethereal, not

composed of elements at all. I do not exist,

am not an entity in this world or the next,

did not descend from Adam and Eve or any

origin story. My place is placeless, a trace

of the traceless. Neither body or soul.

I belong to the beloved, have seen the two

worlds as one and that one call to and know,

first, last, outer, inner only that

breath breathing human being.

Victor is a London born actor and singer-songwriter and educator, now living in Italy. After graduating in theatre studies at the University of East Anglia he worked on a variety of theatre productions before co-founding the international theatre ensemble Theatre of Eternal Values. He has performed his original musical adaptations of William Blake's Songs of Innocence and of Experience in venues and festivals across Europe and in the USA. The song Ah, Sun-Flower is featured in the award winning motion picture, The Italian Key. Other songs are part of the theatrical production Eternity in an Hour, first performed at the Helsinki International Arts Festival 2008 followed by performances in Italy, Switzerland, Turkey and USA at The New York International Fringe Theatre Festival 2010.
