In ternary form.  In the central section I fall back on the traditional hee-haw minor ninth when Puck applies the ass's head mask to poor Bottom the Weaver.  Later in the play, when Puck takes it off, you can hear me inverting the hee-haw into ...haw-hee!

Basses sing a pedal E-flat in "Seek, And You Shall Find," then break out into the fugal motive (in that same key) of "Upon A Rock."  Thus do I regard these two numbers together as a prelude and double fugue.

I wrote this song in Summer 2023. It's a joyful get-up-the-morning and enjoy the day song.
I recorded most of the instruments in a tent at a festival on a very very hot day, where I was storytelling.

Welcome to my original composition where I play the piano, cello, bassoon and flute.

Together, the piano, cello, bassoon, and flute embarked on an enchanting journey, their interwoven voices creating a serene atmosphere that invited each soul in the room to turn inward, to ponder the unspoken pressures of conformity and the quiet, persistent longing to be seen, truly seen, for the unique melody that resided to "Be Just Like Me".
