It was two weeks before two friends were being married in 1980.  I was to play the ceremony.  The bride calls to suggest I write a piece to be performed at the wedding!  I go to bed in something of a panic, but wake up the next morning hearing this trumpet tune.  The other two numbers were added the following summer.
