Can we just start off by saying that it is both an honour and an absolute privilege to be able to share this with you all! 🙏🏻

We present to you, over 80mins of some of the most abrasive and creative industrial hard techno sounds ever created, from one of the most influential artists of the genre. With production work now spanning over 2 decades, and countless releases over vinyl, CD and digital formats. He is a master of his craft.

Both a celebration, and a milestone achievement. One that is hard to match in any industry let alone in the music industry. 

We present to you all: 25 Years Of HardtraX

A DJ set comprised of past, present and future releases and collaborations from his extensive production career. Some of these tracks have over a decade between them, and yet still sound as fresh as ever! 

Below we have included a few words from the man himself:

"This set is a celebration of two and a half decades of HardtraX productions (1997-2022).

After messing around with various different styles as a teenager in the 90's, the early 2000's finally led to a bunch other artists and myself shaping the sound of German hardtechno, which now blends into industrial techno in the 2020's.

What once started out with a couple of tunes made on Amiga 32 bit computers has led to no less than 35 vinyl releases, CD-licensing, HardtraX vs. Jackhamma live-PAs, a wide range of HardtraX sample packs, countless digital releases, various interviews, appearances on radio & TV, a lot of traveling and thus many national and international gigs in Europe, North America and South America - all resulting in an incredibly exciting journey which isn't over yet.

Many thanks go out to all the wonderful people I have met through techno music in the past decades. This mix session is just for you!"

Darkexx/Biography
His parents realized that Darkexx had a musical gift from the time when he was very small. He spent hours playing on a piano, and once built his own drum set using his mother’s pots and pans. 
Darkexx in his childhood enjoyed nothing more than putting on musical shows for his family to enjoy. The family from Darkexx has a library of videos of their youngest son’s memorable performances. 
At the age of three, Darkexx sat before a piano for the very first time. His parents’ belief in his talent manifested itself when it became apparent that he could play by ear. He seemed to absorb the music and play it effortlessly. 
As the years passed,
Mainstream schooling proved challenging for him, He found it increasingly difficult to sit still in class and listen when all around him, he could see, feel, and hear music. He became frustrated in class, and his grades began slipping. 
Concerned about this special child, his teacher approached his parents about sending Darkexx to a Music Academy. While his parents were excited by the prospect of a school that would cater to their son’s needs, they lacked the funds to pay for it. 
Darkexx his teacher arranged for him to audition in an attempt to secure a scholarship. The audition was a resounding effect, with the adjudicators taken aback by his seemingly limitless talent.
Once installed at his new school, Darkexx flourished, and his musical endeavors were met with much acclaim. However, he felt that something was missing. He wanted to compose his own music. 
Attending his first formal dance, Darkexx was intrigued by the DJ who was playing the music. Instead of dancing and enjoying the evening like his peers, Darkexx spent the whole evening watching the DJ working, peppering him with many questions. He walked away that night, determined to find out more about DJing.
He spent hours listening to music and began mixing his own music. His talent was apparent right from the beginning. Soon Darkexx was producing his own tracks and selling them online. 
At the next formal dance, the school didn’t hire a DJ for the evening. All the students requested that Darkexx be allowed the chance to showcase his incredible skills.
Unbeknownst to Darkexx, one of his teachers had requested a talent scout from a major record label too come and see him in action. The music executive was so impressed that he offered Darkexx a contract on the spot. 
Since then, Darkexx has been DJing under this name and has made appearances at festivals and Clubs in Belgium Perfecting his style in Dark and Heavy industrial techno.
